“I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. From Min and Morten, to all the advisors that helped us, to all the staff who worked the venue for set up, the cooks, the servers, the bartenders, and not to mention how insanely good the food was - every single aspect of this place and the people there were truly magnificent. I was excited to marry the love of my life, sure, but after 16 years together I really viewed this as just a big party to celebrate with all the people in our lives. I expected and welcomed that view. To say it exceeded expectations is overwhelmingly unfair - it completely blew my mind how amazing the whole day was, honestly the whole weekend since there was also the rehearsal and breakfast the morning after, and I cannot express how grateful I am for how the whole experience turned out. I know I had loved the venue itself when we first visited, and that I thought the food was absolutely amazing during the food tasting, but it ended up being even more gorgeous on the day and the food for 150 people was still all so delicious that not one guest didn't mention at least one of the apps/ entree throughout the night and following day. One of my brides people who is quite the foodie snob keeps mentioning how juicy the chicken was. Seriously though, the food was just phenomenal. I never like cakes at weddings (they're always beautiful but don't taste good) and had planned on getting cake pops for my wedding, but at the food tasting I was just shocked at how amazing it was that I had to have that cake for the day. I would recommend this venue, and this staff, so whole heartedly. If any of the staff read this review, thank you all for making our special day one that will forever be a heartwarming memory.”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at Full Moon Resort. From the moment we arrived we were received with such warmth and welcome that we knew this was the place for our wedding. With enough place to stay on site for all of our guests we were able to have our dream wedding that felt like a two day adult campground. We loved being able to have people within walking distance of all the activities and not have to worry about transportation for our guests. The grounds are absolutely perfect for a wedding and the event team and the front desk run the whole place like a well oiled machine. Absolutely amazing that they have delicious catering on site and many different options for the wedding ceremony in case of bad weather so there is nothing for the bride to worry about on the day of her wedding. The event team and front desk were able to help us plan the whole wedding weekend and ensure that we did not have any issues coordinating with the venders on the actual day of the wedding which was such a relief or any issues with guest information. The vendor list was also extremely comprehensive and ensured that we only selected the best vendors for our wedding. Our guests didn't want to leave at the end of the weekend and they made us want to get married all over again. “I cannot recommend this venue more! Not only is it beautiful on the inside but Bryce and Courtney who help run the show put in so much time, effort, and energy into making it the best day you could imagine! After our initial meeting with Bryce it was a no-brainer to go with Novella’s. They were the only venue that said yes to all of our requests and let us make the wedding more catered to us as a couple (DIY stirrers, signage, centerpieces, etc.). They only do 1 wedding a day so you are their main focus for the duration of your day. He will answer your emails, texts, and set up meetings with you if you ask! He also added some ideas we wouldn’t have thought of and walked us through the timeline and process with our goals in mind. Our family/friend’s raved about the food during cocktail hour and dinner. Good portions and great quality! As the bride, I felt they ran a tight ship with no hiccups in sight and were easy to find if I had any questions. My guests said it was a true hidden gem that they didn’t know about but loved! They also have a deal with the local Pastry Garden to give you a custom cake included in the venue cost! The venue is within walking feet of a local hotel who are fabulous to work with and Bryce also let us use the outdoor patio for an amazing after party! Truly just good people to work with and SO easy to trust!”

“We loved our wedding at ElmRock Inn! The venue is gorgeous and I had the time of my life. Staying onsite was amazing. I highly recommend ElmRock. The chef is fantastic and we will remember our wedding fondly for the rest of our lives. There were a few negatives during our stay, but we are still very glad that we got married at ElmRock. The first negative was that the water in the BnB and carriage house (where bride/groom stayed) kept running out at night. This was pretty annoying, but not a huge issue since the water was usually fine by morning. Second, the venue coordinator was pretty rude throughout the weekend and especially to my family. Many people at the wedding commented about how rude she was (and the fact that she wore white pants to our wedding!). The rest of the staff was nicer, though a couple of the servers were also rude, just not as bad. I expected the staff to be more accommodating and welcoming the entire weekend, but it really felt more like we were getting scolded at times. Lastly, they served my wedding cake really cold and had clearly forgotten to take it out of the fridge to get to room temperature before serving. That was quite frustrating, especially since I heard them talking about how I (the bride) needed to hurry up to start the cake cutting while I was changing, but the cake wasn't even ready! Overall, the venue is gorgeous and we had a lovely time. I think the experience would be improved by some updating to their plumbing and getting a coordinator that's nicer to their customers. The food was AMAZING and the chef is fantastic, just be warned if you're sensitive to people who can be rude/unaccommodating.”

“We had the pleasure of having our daughter’s reception at the Inn. We were forced to relocate to their venue because of a gas leak at our original location. 5 hours before the wedding! The entire staff, especially Mary the manager and Matt the bartender went over and above to make sure our reception went well. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful grounds and venue space. If they can do what they did for us in 5 hours. I can only imagine what would have been with 5 months of planning! Thanks again for your attention to detail and hospitality, you saved the day….”
