As someone in the wedding industry, I knew that I wanted to hire someone completely capable of carrying out my vision and all of the intricate details on my wedding day. Having worked with Ket before as a freelancer, I knew immediately that I wanted Ket and her team to create the florals for my fall wedding. Ket was patient and attentive to detail with all of my requests, checking in throughout the planning process to ensure that all of the things she had in mind for the wedding matched what I was dreaming of. On the wedding day, when I saw the flowers at our ceremony, I was floored and immediately in tears. Ket captured every detail and wish of mine perfectly - from my bouquet, to my bridesmaids' bouquets, to the table arrangements, and the ceremony arrangements. I absolutely cannot recommend her enough!

Honeysuckle Farm
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves New Market, VA

Honeysuckle Farm is a small flower farm and design studio located in Madison County, VA. We provide arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions. Our arrangements feature locally and American grown blooms and we practice a sustainable, foam-free approach to floral design.

Awarded Best of Zola
Many amazing qualities - from the sustainable use of in-season plants, aromatic plants, and willingness to help transform bridesmaids bouquets to center-pieces post ceremony, I couldn't recommend Honeysuckle Farm enough. What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. This was far beyond my wildest dreams and (I felt) a REALLY good price. Would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone, but particularly for folks who aren't looking to spend 5k for bouquets and basics***(obviously pricing is based on market and seasonality).

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (94 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves New Market, VA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
This was by far one of the best decisions and money savers I could’ve done for myself. The flowers were top quality, beautiful, and we had a blast putting them together with our family. Flower Mocie is simple and they have videos that will help you prepare in advance for your vision and piecing your bouquets together. I was quoted 5000 for florals by other vendors, but with flower moxie and a little creativity, we only spent 500 to cover 12 bouquets and 16 boutonnières. HIGGLY RECOMMEND

Woodland Floral Design Co.
Rating: 5.0 (78 reviews)
  • Serves New Market, VA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Awarded Best of Zola
Misha is incredible! Wedding florals can be so daunting, but from our first Zoom meeting, all of my worries were gone. It was clear Misha genuinely enjoys making a personal connection with her clients. She checked in periodically and was available whenever we had questions. I knew Misha was going to create something beautiful, but beautiful is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Our wedding florals were stunning. I told Misha I wanted bright and fun, but that was really it. As a result of our conversations, I knew I could trust her vision and creativity. She blew us away! As soon as I saw them, my jaw dropped. She created 2 floral columns for the ceremony space and lined the aisle with the most magnificent florals. And when I say florals, I mean florals. Her designs are teeming with blooms! Everything down to the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages was full of substance. She also created the most amazing couch installation for one of our lounge areas that was the backdrop for one of our favorite pictures. Every guest at our wedding made a comment about the florals being exquisite, and we could not agree more. Misha was then able to repurpose all of the florals from the ceremony space to the reception space as centerpieces for the tables and decoration for the sweetheart table. I will never get over how absolutely perfect the florals were on our wedding day. Misha has a gift, and anyone getting married should 100 percent work with her as their florist.

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves New Market, VA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!

Jen was absolutely wonderful to work with! She took my idea of Harry Potter inspired bouquets and made it a reality. I was absolutely stunned by the results and my bridesmaids loved their bouquets, which I gave to them as a gift after the wedding. The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Five Stems Farm
Rating: 5.0 (11 reviews)
  • Starts at $500
  • Serves New Market, VA

Flowers have such a magical way of bringing life to events! My favorite part of a wedding is seeing the dream becoming reality during setup. Your flowers should be features that accent your beauty and energy, and I love creating that for you! I started working in floristry while preparing for my own wedding. From elopements with a single bouquet to events with thousands of stems, I’ve loved every opportunity to create something new. When I’m not immersed in “flower town,” as my husband calls it, you can find us and our three kiddos (the five stems!) doing DIY projects around the house, reading outside, or playing MarioKart as a family!

Awarded Best of Zola
I can't recommend Five Stems Farm highly enough! Christina provided the florals for my intimate al-fresco rehearsal dinner in October 2024, and she went above and beyond from start to finish. Her communication throughout the process was impeccable - she was not only extremely responsive, but she also spent hours listening and brainstorming tablescape ideas with my mother-in-law. I wanted something colorful, fun, whimsical, and romantic, and Christina delivered beyond my wildest dreams. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the floral arrangements for the first time—they were absolutely breathtaking. Christina’s talent is unmatched, and the guests couldn’t stop gushing about how stunning the flowers were. If you’re planning a wedding or special event, look no further than Five Stems Farm. Christina will make your floral dreams come true!

Jessica and her team did the florals for our wedding, and they were AMAZING! She was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. I reached out to many florists, and she was patient and intentional, taking my mumbled jumbled ideas and putting together something magical for our big day. No idea was too big or small. We had several one-on-one meetings, and she put together an inspirational slide deck. That’s when I truly started to see all the pieces coming together! She worked within my budget and let me know beforehand if there would be any additional costs based on what I wanted. It was also nice because I could handle all my floral rentals through her (things like vases and candles) without needing to contact additional vendors. On the actual wedding day, Jessica and her team were incredibly kind, keeping me at ease. I trusted her to get creative and make decisions when I didn't have an exact plan for something. Cannot recommend f&b enough!

Wrachel’s Wreaths
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Starts at $600
  • Serves New Market, VA

My business started as a way to bring beauty into my home and into the homes of my loved ones. I wanted to find a balance between sustainability, natural elements and home decor. I have always been inspired by nature and the beautiful landscape it can create and I try to bring that into my work. I specialize in supporting local flower farmers, foraged flowers and working with couples to decorate in a sustainable and cost-effective way.

From our first conversation with Rachel at Wrachel's Wreaths, we knew we were in good hands. She listened carefully to what we wanted and asked thoughtful questions to understand our vision for both our American ceremony and Cambodian reception. Rachel created stunning bouquets for me and my bridesmaids, plus boutonnières and corsages that looked incredible throughout the day. Her florals were so beautiful, we even repurposed the bridesmaid bouquets as centerpiece arrangements at the reception tables for our wedding party. What really impressed us was how punctual and reliable she was. The flowers arrived exactly when we needed them, with no stress or last-minute scrambling. Rachel's work was absolutely gorgeous and her kindness made the whole process feel special. We would highly recommend her to any couple looking for a florist who truly cares about getting every detail right. We are still in awe of our wedding florals from Rachel. Thank you so so much for being part of our wedding weekend!

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company.
