I'm from Statesville, NC. I've been in the kitchen cooking since I was a kid. I grew up with a family of cooks. My grandmother was a head chef for 32 years at a mom and pops restaurant and cooking with her on the weekends when I visited her is where discovered my passion and real love for southern homestyle food.
