Foxtail Films

A unique photography and videography duo that just want to capture your best day ever. Based out of Iowa, Foxtail Films isn't afraid to travel! We have experience from California to Florida and just about everything in between.

From the moment my husband and I got engaged, we knew we wanted to work with Val and Kevin. At the time, we were living in Arizona, so I called Val to ask if she’d be willing to travel there to capture our engagement photos. Without hesitation, she said yes—and she made it happen! Leading up to our wedding day, Val was incredibly easy to communicate with. She even reached out to our DJ to coordinate timelines, which lifted a huge weight off our shoulders. On the wedding day, Val and Kevin made everything run smoothly and efficiently, ensuring we got the perfect photos and video. We couldn’t be happier with how all of our engagement and wedding photos turned out. Our wedding video completely blew us away—it beautifully captured every moment from the start of the day through the reception. Being able to relive our day whenever we want brings back so many emotions and truly makes us feel like we’re there all over again. I’ve cried happy tears every time I’ve watched it. We can’t thank Val and Kevin enough for their amazing work in capturing our most special moments. We will cherish their work forever. We would highly recommend booking them for your big day too!

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer than Doug to capture our wedding day. From start to finish, Doug was a pleasure to work with—his laid-back approach made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, and his sense of humor kept things light and fun throughout the day. He let us be ourselves, which we felt comfortable to do so, which resulted in photos that feel genuine and natural, especially with our large family. Doug's work is absolutely wonderful, and we felt zero stress when it came to photos because we trusted him completely. His attention to detail and ease with his craft put us at ease, and the final images exceeded what we hoped for. We'd recommend Doug to any couple looking for a photographer who truly cares about capturing the heart of their day.

A 10 year veteran to the Wedding industry, Electric Entertainment stands out as a premium vendor across the midwest. Our team of professionally trained DJs are here every step of the way from planning to execution to deliver a true experience for your guests. We perform. We entertain. We execute your vision.

Megan and Logan were great to work with in the early stages, and then Ali & Drake took over about a month before! They all were fantastic to work with and I could definitely tell that Ali & Drake were the best match for my wedding. I wasn't sure what to think about booking a company that matches a DJ to your wedding after booking, but they really did take the time to find what music style I liked and which DJ was going to vibe the best. Highly recommend!!!! The entire planning process was so easy with them and the online portal was so simple to use! They truly made my day exceptional!

We are the Webers! We like long walks in the desert, dogs, and tacos. We met in high school, dated for several years, and decided to take it to the next level and got married in October of 2020. Kevin is chill and one of the kindest humans and Val is outgoing and fun. We balance each other well! We have two labs, Onni and Stella. We got into photography and videography by just playing around with cameras. One day we just decided it would be a blast to make a career of it! Kevin loves creating for hunting articles and videos and Val loves weddings and maternity sessions!

WE LOVED WORKING WITH FOXTAIL FILMS! Val and Kevin were professional, knowledgeable, flexible, and fun! They are reasonably priced and both the photos and videos were top quality!

Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.

We booked DJ Clife because it was important to us have an energetic emcee and DJ who would work with our non-traditional wedding day flow and could mix/transition music (not just queue a playlist). He understood our goals and helped advise in planning/details, answering all the questions I had. We had a little scare with our initial assigned day of DJ getting double booked but we were SO happy with DJ Kanoya and his assistant!! They were super personable, and we & all of our guests (we brought LOTS of east coasters with us to Iowa!) had an amazing night on the dance floor!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Montrose, IA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Very easy to use, however I still had to purchase extra flowers from Trader Joe’s. The flowers were phenomenal, the roses smelled incredible and were giant blooms the day of the wedding. Could use much more greenery, but still made the process easier than doing it from scratch!

We rented a camcorder from Press Record Co & created us a dreamy, beautiful video from the footage. The final result was heartfelt, high-quality, and captured the spirit of our day so perfectly—it truly brought tears to our eyes. It had a bit of each of our family members which meant so much to us. The whole team was kind, responsive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Thank you for helping us preserve such a special memory. Nationwide Wedding DJs made finding a DJ for our wedding so much easier than we expected. Michael was quick to respond and got us connected with DJ Danny Crush, who turned out to be perfect for our event. Once we were linked with Danny, we didn't need a middleman anymore and could communicate directly, which streamlined everything. The setup was smooth and Danny kept the energy high all night long. Using an agency like Nationwide to find a local DJ in our area saved us hours of searching on our own. The booking process could use some polish in their planner formatting, but overall we're grateful for how efficiently they got us to the right person for our special day.

I’m Haverlee, (hay-verlee). Based in Iowa, I serve the Midwest, Western NC, Denver, and beyond. With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, and well over 150 weddings photographed, it still surprises me how my love for this industry grows each year. This work is not about me, it's about the individuals in front of my lens. I can’t tell an honest story if I’m constantly interfering, directing, and manipulating moments. I want your photos to render cherished memories from your day with your people, not memories of your photographer. I’m there to tell the beautiful and imperfect story as it unfolds.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are beyond grateful to have had Haverlee as our wedding photographer. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and her warm, encouraging demeanor managed to make two somewhat awkward people actually feel comfortable in front of the camera! On the big day, Haverlee was so much more than just our photographer. She was a calming presence, a problem-solver (she even helped put pins in my hair!), and a true support system. Her expertise, organized timeline, and guidance made the day run smoothly! And then there's her work - absolutely stunning. She has such a gift for capturing real emotion—both the big moments and the quiet in-between ones. When we look at our photos, we’re transported right back to that day, and we can feel the pure joy all over again. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shines through in her work. We’ll treasure our photos forever and feel so lucky to have had her as part of our day. We highly recommend Haverlee to capture your special moments, too!

I present fun, elegant, and exciting Wedding Photography for my clients. My style is photojournalistic; I feel it's the most effective way to tell a story. After all, there is so much happening on a wedding day. Between the ceremony, dancing, and endless extravaganzas, the most memorable moments will naturally occur.  My goal is to capture the emotions and memories of your day through my lens. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. I appreciate you for giving me a few moments of your time.t

Working with Portraits By Sean was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their communication style was professional, efficient, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was truly one-of-a-kind - their photos are gorgeous, superb, innovative, and incredibly detail-oriented and precise. The team of two photographers and a videographer was amazing, capturing so many special moments that will forever stay with us from our wedding day. We were especially grateful that they were able to capture our private final dance, which means the world to us. After our wedding, when our oldest son was leaving for bootcamp, Sean thoughtfully sent us additional photos that had been taken during the celebration, which are now cherished keepsakes for our family. I honestly can't say enough good things about our experience with Portraits By Sean - they exceeded our expectations in every way and we are thrilled with the beautiful memories they've preserved for us.

The photographer, Jonathan, and his assistant, were absolutely amazing. They arrived early, were flexible and really accommodating to our vision. They also really hustled! They took advantage of every spare moment they had to get additional photos, and kept us on schedule super tightly. They even carried around things like bottles of water for me (the bride) as we took lots of photos in the hot upper floor of the venue. Many guests also mentioned how beautifully the photos turned out. However, we did have an issue in which, due to an injury to the editor's hand, we did not receive our photos in the agreed-upon timeframe. Had we been informed of this delay ahead of time, we would not have had any issue just waiting a bit longer. The main concern was that we weren't alerted of this delay until after the initial deadline had passed. We did request a discount due to this, which they accommodated. And the photos did still turn out amazing!

Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!
