“We got married at sea cliff on 3/21. We loved that the venue was different from the run of the mill ballroom we kept seeing when we were looking for a space. The windows overlooking the water, the outdoor cocktail hour space, the details in the architecture - it’s all beautiful and magical. The bride/groom suites and bathrooms were just redone and were perfect. We had so many people tell us that the cocktail hour and dinner were the best they’ve had at a wedding. Ian is absolutely amazing at what he does and handled every detail. He made sure that I didn’t have to worry or think about a thing the day of. They were detail oriented and thoughtful in decorating the space for us. The whole staff were so welcoming and friendly throughout. Julissa, our Bridal Attendant, even put cornstarch on my feet in the bridal suite so I wouldn’t slip out of my shoes—a small gesture that perfectly captures the level of attention and care she provided! The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had every dish we wanted, and our guests raved about the delicious family style apps and out of this world entrees. The owner even made sure we had the freshest fish option for our guests, and my husband LOVED IT! We were blown away when the staff brought trays of desserts outside so everyone could enjoy them wherever they were. “I hosted my rehearsal dinner for my wedding at bird on the roof and without hesitation it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding weekend. Leo and the team couldn’t be more helpful! They went above and beyond what I expected. They were available the entire year planning and made the event as smooth as possible. And besides the restaurant being the cutest place in Montauk, the food is also phenomenal. We couldn’t have received more compliments about the dinner and drinks. Most of our guests went back again before they left for the weekend because they wanted to try more of the items in the menu. I am so lucky to have found this restaurant, met Leo and team, and booked my event here!
