The room can hold up to 250 guest for a plated reception or 220 for a buffet reception. Attached to the room is The Pub Bar. This large bar is penninsula shaped and served from 3 sides. There are several tables in the surrounding area for guests to easily gather around. You and your guests will have access to our spacious patio where the views of the golf course continue. This space can also serve as the perfect back drop for an on-site ceremony. The Evergreen Room offeres an adjoining Bridal Suite. The Venue at River's Edge is a recently restored Venue in downtown waterloo. Formerly the building was used as a community building before the city of waterloo had things like a school gym or a theater. At one time the building hosted a long list of events including basketball games, weddings, movies, plays, and even a rifle range in the basement. After being restored we are now again hosting events with a primary focus on weddings and receptions. The Chapel was finished in 1905 and was in use until 2007 when the 3 Catholic Parishes (St. Michael’s, St. Patrick’s, and St. Peter’s) merged into one. The new Parish is now known as St. Katharine Drexel Parish. In November 2010 we purchased the church from St. Katharine Drexel Parish. A lifeless shell that had been empty for 3 years, we hope to revitalize this stately building, share its beauty and grandeur with the community, and open it to all who are looking for a unique space to hold events. Opening in mid-summer of 2011, Chapel of the Archangels is limited only by your imagination, we offer a great place to hold weddings, wedding receptions, anniversaries, vow renewals. The sky’s the limit! We also offer a convenient reception hall, meeting and educational facility in the Angel’s Den downstairs, complete with bar, kitchen facilities, and Wi-Fi. The Wagner House, located in the historic Wagner Print Building, is a three-story industrial warehouse in downtown Freeport, Illinois. The building was built in 1903 and was one of the first buildings that had electricity in Freeport. Established in 1853 and incorporated on March 9, 1912, the Wagner Building was home to the German-born Wagner Family who, like Freeport, has a long and interesting history. The Wagner House also served as an industrial manufacturing spot for textiles and fashion. For four generations, the business did not change hands, and the present Wagner company pledged to continue their record of quality printing and letterpress and are still in business today. In 2013, The Wagner building was sold to Bill Green to redevelop and re-imagine it, creating a wine bar, business incubator, and beautiful event space.
