“Blossom and Bee were one of the approved vendors on our venue's list. It was an easy process working with Penny and her team. I was able to pin inspo pictures on a Pinterest board as well as share pictures of my dress, my husband's tux, and our wedding invitation suite. As a bride of Indian origin, I wanted bright spring florals that also complimented the industrial/French look of our venue. I was overwhelmed by the number of color combinations I was interested in and the team helped me narrow down to the best color scheme. Something to note is that you will need to provide bud vases and rent floral stands from B&B if that is something you want in your decor. Luckily my venue provided a moon gate that could be used for the ceremony, and the venue staff repurposed the florals from the ceremony to the sweetheart table.”

After 15 years of success in retail floral design, they decided to take on the event world full force! In 2017, Eden Events was launched and within the first month was recognized as a wedding award winner in our service area.

When we first reached out to A Floral, we chatted had been chatting with a few different florists. After our conversation with Ayana, the decision was easy. She listened to what we wanted and made it clear that she would get it right. Once we decided to go with her as our florist, the care and support didn’t stop. We visited her shop where she gave us beautiful displays of what we could expect on our big day. Most importantly, she worked with our budget to achieve our vision. She also came along during our venue walkthroughs so she could see the space and be adequately prepared for the wedding day. She’s also a kind person—which may not seem important now but trust me! A compassionate person who is willing to work with you when things get stressful is very valuable. “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”
