The Best Botanical Wedding Florists in Mattapoisett, MA

“Stoneside delivered beyond our expectations. We asked for natural, airy, locally grown Massachusetts florals with loose color guidance, and they ran with it beautifully. The arrangements were whimsical and perfectly matched the vibe of our day — and our guests couldn't stop complimenting them, especially my bouquet. They were communicative and relaxed throughout planning, set clear expectations, and were creative in helping us figure out what we'd need for a unique venue. They even added unexpected touches of purple that ended up being one of our favorite details. The flowers held up all day — my bouquet looked pristine even after hours of outdoor photos in the sun. Cannot recommend them enough.”

“I have to give the biggest shoutout to Holly and the whole team at Seascape Florals. I was the type of bride who thought I could DIY most of my flowers and I’m so thankful I didn’t listen to myself! Working with Holly was so amazing! She was super understanding of my budget and flexible when I made last minute adds to the package. To say that the flower arrangements were stunning is an understatement! The pergola was breathtaking, my bouquet was perfect, and the centerpieces were quite literally a conversation piece for days after my wedding. Holly is so kind and I’m so grateful that I was able to work with her! I love what I do. Plain and Simple. I have a passion for this business and creating statement pieces, arrangements, and bouquets that are reflections of my design style but more importantly representative of my couples.

“Christine was incredible to work with. We had been shopping around for flowers and loved the look of her designs. We reached out to her to set up a Zoom call and knew we wanted to book with her by the time we hung up. She was flexible, realistic about budgets, and had great suggestions and answers to our questions. After our initial Zoom call, she sent us a vision document that included a lot of the wishes we had mentioned and visuals of what she was thinking. It was the most detailed proposal we got from any vendor in the whole wedding process! We were beyond impressed. We had follow up calls and emailed back and forth about wedding color updates, Pinterest Boards, venue pictures, etc. Christine was prompt in her responses. The flowers on the day of our wedding blew us away. They were absolutely stunning and exactly what we had pictured. Everyone complimented them on the day of and continues to compliment them when they see pictures. We are so grateful for Christine’s hard work and talent. We would recommend her to any couple!”

“Jacci and the team at Poppy Cart were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From our very first conversation, they demonstrated a collaborative, clear, friendly, and efficient communication style that put me at ease. It was clear Jacci listened and understood my vision for my wedding, because every flower and color in the bouquets, centerpieces, and other decor was intentional and beyond what I could have imagined. When I mentioned I wanted jasmine in my bouquet but couldn't find it locally, Jacci went above and beyond to source some growing nearby and included it, which brought me to tears - it was one of the highlights of the day. The quality of Poppy Cart's work is truly the very best you can get, and people would be silly not to hire them for their wedding. They made our special day even more meaningful and beautiful than I could have hoped for.”

At Bittersweet Gardens, I feel so lucky to do what I love: growing beautiful flowers and turning them into stunning wedding designs that tell your love story. As a farmer-florist with over 25 years of experience, I’ve learned how to cultivate blooms that perfectly reflect the magic and emotion of each special day. It’s a true joy to grow these flowers from the ground up—quite literally! But what truly makes this work special is getting to meet so many wonderful couples. Hearing your stories, understanding your vision, and bringing it all to life through flowers is an honor I treasure with every wedding.

“We had an amazing experience working with Julie from Bittersweet Gardens in Kingston, MA as our wedding florist. From start to finish, Julie delivered absolutely stunning florals while being incredibly thoughtful and accommodating of our budget. She created the most beautiful centerpieces, boutonnieres and corsages, a breathtaking bridal bouquet, elegant bridesmaid bouquets, and gorgeous ground florals for our ceremony. We loved that we were able to repurpose the ground florals for our sweetheart table—they looked perfect in both settings. Julie also went above and beyond by coordinating directly with Keegan Kreations to add fresh florals to our wedding cake, resulting in a truly show-stopping visual. Every arrangement she designed was lush, cohesive, and perfectly matched our vision. We couldn’t have asked for a more talented or professional florist. Five stars—highly recommend Bittersweet Gardens!”

Sweet as Honey Floral

“Sweet as Honey Floral took my vague description (color, fun, classic) and venue (coastal) and created an absolute masterpiece! Since the venue overlooked a harbor, I didn't want an arch to block the view - instead, Erin recommended a sprawling garden style centerpiece, and it took my breath away! (See photo by Morgan Wynne Photography) We ended up bringing it upstairs to decorate the reception area after the ceremony was complete. The bouquets and boutonnieres were in a similar style and tied the whole thing together perfectly. Erin was so flexible and responsive during the planning process - I was so pleased, and I highly highly recommend!”

I even purchased my bridal bouquet so I could display it forever, and it still looks just as stunning. Everyone kept commenting on how realistic and well put together the flowers looked, even more so than some real flower arrangements we’ve seen. It was such a relief not to have to worry about keeping anything in water or paying the high price of fresh florals. The flowers arrived at our venue a few days early, and the return process afterward was incredibly easy. Bloom Culture: Do-it-yourself Wedding Flowers

Rating: 4.9 (14 reviews)

Starts at $350
Serves Mattapoisett, MA

Bloom Culture helps couples DIY their wedding flowers with confidence — even if you’ve never arranged flowers before. We ship wholesale flowers to your door and provide a full plan that shows you what to order, how much you need, and how to put everything together. You’ll know exactly how many stems go into each bouquet, centerpiece, boutonniere — and how to assemble them step-by-step. Choose one of our DIY flower kits or get a custom plan based on your colors, style, and budget.

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”
