“I absolutely love the flowers I received! Originally I did not receive a confirmation email, but I reached out and Alexa was able to get me the confirmation quickly. When I received the flowers, they were well packaged and came with simple but thorough instructions for preparing them. Alexa texted me and let me know they had been delivered and made sure I knew to wire the ranunculus and sent a very helpful video. My sister made my and my MOH bouquets and 10 bud vases, my mom and MIL made 4 wrist corsages, and I made 5 pocket boutonnières. We had a bunch leftover that we made into a giant bouquet for the dining room table at the house I got ready at. I did add a dozen orange tulips from a grocery store to the arrangements, but I 100% did not need to do that. “Initially I was drawn in by Angelle’s colorful arrangements on her Instagram and so I decided to contact her and set up a meeting. Once we talked, I knew she was a florist who cared about her clients and their visions. She is genuinely one of the sweetest vendors we had at our wedding, hands down! She was very responsive to any questions or messages my husband and I had. She made quick accommodations for us (if we needed a flower basket or to add detail photos, she was there to do it). Really, if you want to feel like you are taken care of on your wedding day, Angelle will do that for you. On a personal note, Bre was so diligent and intentional when it came to my late Mothers “ In Loving Memory of” chair during our ceremony ,that is easily one of the most sentimental moments of our wedding. For that alone, I am eternally grateful. Bottom line, you absolutely cannot go wrong with booking with Poppin Peonies and Bre. Woodsy Floral started by accident believe it or not. Flowers have always been a part of my husband and I’s marriage. Every Friday or every other Friday my husband, Lonnie would go get fresh stems from the floral shop down the road from our house. With crazy looks he grabbed them. This turned into me making arrangements for our events. When some of our friends saw these floral arrangements, they asked if we could make more for their events. We had one friend that owns a wedding venue, she brought up becoming a vendor for her brides. Well after a little bit of pressuring from Lonnie, we attended her open house as a floral vendor and LOVED IT.

“When I began my search for a florist, I knew what type of style and colors I was looking for but I was worried about my budget and for the vision to be captured in that. I spoke to a couple florists who were dismissive and unhelpful. I contacted Lonnie and Monica after finding them on Zola and Lonnie was so informative and personable and helped me understand costs and how to make your vision work in your budget! He answered all my questions and every time we talked, he helped me so much. I was the bride and the coordinator and I was learning the wedding planning process, and Lonnie helped me through all of it. Lonnie and Monica were incredibly flexible and available when I needed to get a question answered. They went above and beyond with the communication, dedication and kindness. They helped me with the bud vases and candles at our reception and did absolutely stunning florals for the entire day. They exceeded by expectation and it gave me so much joy since the florals were one of the most important things to me on our vendor/wedding day list!! They stayed and helped set up and came back to clean up. They were so kind to everyone we worked with at the venue and all our other vendors. I felt so cared for and loved! “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

“Carol is so talented. When I saw her instagram I immediately loved her work and it was exactly what I was looking for. The name of her business says it all! The whimsical styled arrangements she creates are so beautiful. She is very helpful and quick to respond! Not long after I sent an inquiry form, she put together a design proposal with inspo pictures and color palette and it was SPOT on. I was geeking over how pretty and nicely put together the proposal was with all the types of flowers she would be using, the colors, and inspiration pictures that were similar to the vibe of our venue. We met at her shop and talked prices and she broke down everything for me and worked with my budget. Her and her team were amazing the day of the wedding. They came in the morning and brought everything in, set up all the tables and the ceremony site, after the ceremony they helped bring the arrangements inside to repurpose them , and came back to help with take down at the end of the night. She also left flowers at the table ready for my cake artist to decorate, and brought me the prettiest surprise bouquet to the bridal suite with a sweet note from my fiance. She also made the cutest flower collar for my dog to walk down the aisle with as the ring bearer! My wedding was a little over a month ago and I'm still so obsessed with everything. I will always recommend Whimsy Floral to anyone! Even if it's not for a big event, and just for a special occasion, all of her arrangements are beautiful.
