“We loved Simple Fare! I don't write reviews unless I truly mean it. The food was absolutely delicious, working with them was so easy, communication was constant, and I sometimes felt like Maeghan was my second Wedding Coordinator. She had so many good ideas and always kept our vision and most importantly (to us), our budget in mind! She helped us organize our floor plan in a way that kept things running smooth and kept people partying - for example, coffee and desserts on the edge of the dance floor to keep people dancing all night! As someone who had no idea where to begin planning, I appreciated every bit of guidance Maeghan provided. Our venue had a list of preferred caterers but we specifically went off-list so we could work with Simple Fare! Because they were not pre-approved, there were some additional hoops to jump through, but Maeghan and Candice and everyone at Simple Fare went above and beyond to make sure everything was covered and that the process was smooth on our end. Truly no extra steps were added for us. Candice was our on-site event manager and went the extra mile to make sure our dinner service ran smoothly. She coordinated tables for the buffet so there was never a line, and stopped by our sweetheart table multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted! The bartenders and servers did an amazing job and seemed to be having a great time during the reception, which in turn made all the guests have an even better time! Who says you can't have fun while doing your job, you know? Everyone raved about the food, and I can attest it was delicious. Get the short rib!!! And the stuffed mushrooms and oatmeal raisin cookies :) I'd recommend their food and service to anyone planning an event!”

From the first conversation all the way through the end of the event, everything was handled with so much professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Planning an event can be stressful, especially when you’re trying to make sure the food, setup, timing, and overall experience come together the way you imagined. The team at Maison D made the entire process feel so much easier. They listened to what we wanted, communicated with us throughout the process, and were very accommodating when it came to the little details that mattered to us. The food was honestly one of the highlights of the event. Everything tasted fresh, was seasoned really well, and the presentation was beautiful. Our guests kept talking about how good the food was, and several people even asked who catered the event. The portions were great, everything came out looking professional, and you could tell that they actually take pride in what they serve. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. The staff was friendly, respectful, attentive, and professional without making things feel stiff or overly formal. They made sure our guests were taken care of and handled things behind the scenes without us having to constantly check in or worry about what was happening next. That allowed us to actually enjoy the event instead of spending the entire time trying to manage everything. There were also little touches throughout the event that showed they genuinely cared about the experience and weren’t just there to provide food and leave. That type of hospitality is hard to find. Overall, we had a really great experience with Maison D Events and Hospitality. “We cannot recommend Soraya and her team enough! We had a Turkish American wedding and she was both our caterer and coordinator. The food was delicious and we are still getting compliments almost a month after! She really understood what was needed to combine both Turkish and American style foods, and was very conscious of what would work for our crowd and what wouldn’t. Soraya was able to answer questions I didn’t even know I had, and we were able to confidently hand everything over to her so that we were fully present during our special day. “WOW. Blackstone is AMAZING and we had an incredible experience with them as our wedding caterer. From our first conversation through the wedding day, the team was professional, responsive, and attentive to every detail. We worked with Gina and she was incredible! She explained everything thoroughly, helped us pick an amazing menu, and also coordinated all of the rentals for the day. They were really accommodating to any needs and their menus are all super customizable.
