“First of all my Husband and I wanted our guests to be comfortable and enjoy good food and vibes and Rachel and Phyllis made that happen. They offered great food choices to which we went with food stations... my Aunt is still talking about the mac and cheese station. We tasted quite a few and you can not go wrong with any of them. My Husband is a trained chef and he was so excited about how good everything was. I mean, delicious. In honor of my Dad they also created a ice cream sandwhich station, letting me pick all the choices I wanted. I am so grateful. We got married at The California Botanical Garden in Claremont. We chose our ceremony at the California court yard and our reception at the Lewis family forest pavilion. It was perfect. Rachel and Phyllis let us walk the venue as often as needed/wanted. They worked beautifully with our vendors and our family and friends who were helping with some set up. The whole time Rachel helped me, even when she did not need to. All the way to the point that she held up the back of my dress as we were leaving so it did not get dirty. It ended up raining on my wedding night and the team got all of us covered and my guest were able to sit and be dry and enjoy all the food stations. Miracle workers. In planning they were excellent too, all the colors and different ideas of plates, napkins, etc. They helped me plan it out so well. If that one sentence doesn't pull you in, let us explain how everything went down for us! We reached out to NOMADA through email and had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura who was super professional, helpful, and always coming up with ways to make our event even better! We got to meet her and the NOMADA team in person at our tasting and it was WONDERFUL! They let us try everything (which we recommend going with an absolutely empty stomach because you're gonna want to try EVERYTHING)! We fell in love with all of the food (especially the Chilean Sea bass tacos--YUMMM!) and we were already tailoring what we would want for our wedding menu! After the tasting, we signed a contract that they really helped tailor towards our event and make sure that everything was covered (i.e. mobile kitchens, chips and salsa, servers, etc.). After that, we had to wait a few months until the event (just DREAMING of eating their delicious food) and all during that time, they answered all of our questions and made sure we felt taken care of! When it was finally time for our wedding... NOMADA WAS INCREDIBLE! So many of our guests told us they were some of the best tacos/food they have EVER had at a wedding before! They also couldn't stop talking about how nice and helpful the team of servers were! Overall, the whole team SMASHED IT out of the park in every sense and we truly couldn't have been more thankful them! Overall, the food was delicious, the service was efficient and so personable, and all of their attention to detail throughout the whole planning process was unmatched. Our guests felt so taken care of and well fed as everyone went back for seconds (and possibly thirds)! They are worth every single penny! Now quit reading this long review and book them because they are the absolute best! :D”

“Above All Catering was amazing in making our wedding special, and a large part of this was thanks to Alicia. She was communicative and responsive throughout our entire planning process. The whole team was kind in taking time to answer any of our questions at any time. The tasting experience was very pleasant, we loved all the food (they let us take the rest home). On the day of, their service was professional and smooth, their team did an amazing job leading the buffet station. Our guests made several comments throughout the night about how much they enjoyed the mushroom fajitas, they were so tasty! We also specially requested horchata and agua de jamaica which were wonderful beverage additions loved by many of our guests. Above All Catering was recommended as a preferred vendor by our venue and remained the only catering option that was explicitly accommodating of a fully vegetarian/vegan menu as well as many dietary restrictions for our guests (gluten free and nut free options) which was extremely important to us.
