“I can’t recommend Giulia enough. She puts an enormous amount of time into getting to know each client, I felt so seen and taken care of throughout the entire process. I loved her energy so much, I was honestly sad when she packed up and left for the day at my wedding haha!!
She chose two fantastic additional makeup artists to work alongside her to handle my large wedding party in a short amount of time (we had 12 women with makeup done by 12 pm!!) Everyone was so fun and kind and laughing, the vibes were perfect.
Giulia is so skilled, you can see as she works the artistic eye that she has. With my very medium amount of makeup knowledge and having never had my makeup done before, I struggled to express what I wanted, but she understood my vision and made it happen.
Before the makeup trial, she sent me a hefty questionnaire asking me so many details about my experiences with makeup, my preferences, and what I envisioned for my wedding day. She referenced my answers throughout the whole trial. I felt so seen.
During my makeup trial, she also asked me questions about the other women in my bridal party. Even though she couldn’t, of course, do a trial for everyone, she collected data about them so she’d know what to expect. Especially for some of my party who were nervous to have their makeup done, it was so reassuring to know how much a she cared about her work not only on the bride.
My trial makeup wasn’t perfect, but my wedding makeup was PERFECT. The way she took notes and made changes between the trial and the wedding day was amazing and just showed her skill and thoughtfulness. She changed up the blush/bronzer, the lashes, and the lip color and the changes she made between the trial and the wedding made my makeup look perfect.
I didn’t know when I hired her but I was so happy to find out is that she’s been in the biz for years!! She looks young but said she’s been a MUA for something like ten years. I felt so reassured and knew I was in good hands.
Before the trial, she also sent me a Pinterest board of make up examples that were all 100% real, to cut through the BS of AI, photoshop, etc. that is so much of Pinterest nowadays. I sent it to my bridal party to set their expectations straight and give them inspo as well.
Also, she gave me really good skin care product recommendations that I am still using seven months later.
Overall, Giulia cares, is so talented, and the right person to hire for your wedding day.”
