The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. The Barns main room is 5300 square feet and will seat 250-300 guests. The outdoor patio area is covered featuring a fire table and barrel tables. There are multiple ceremony locations and tables and chairs are included in your rental. You may bring your own food and drinks and alcohol is permitted with the purchase of event insurance.

The Ballroom at Union Square is a historic space located downtown Newark. Originally built in 1902 originally as a dance hall the venue was renovated and re-opened in 2016 as a concert hall. To our surprise couples began booking weddings and to date we have hosted more than 50. The venue is three stories and features the main ballroom, two full service bars, a full service kitchen, changing rooms, and onsite accommodations for the couple.

Hillcrest Orchards is an ideal location for a ceremony or a reception. The 90-acre orchard features a historic, 2300 sq. ft. barn and two 24 x 32’ pavilions joined by a brick patio area. Built in 1936, the barn was used to sort and package apples up until 1980 and has recently been renovated to accommodate up to 160 guests complete with restrooms.
