“Scribner Bend Vineyards was one of the last wedding venues that we toured in March of 2024, and the moment we walked the beautiful grounds and got a feel for the flow of how our wedding day would look, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. We were luckily enough to lock in a Saturday in October of 2025. We not only fell in love with the natural beauty of the property, but we were impressed by how kind and welcoming all of the staff were (Shaye at the time and then Hillary), greeting us with their amazing signature almond champagne. Since we had over a year to plan our wedding, we were able to attend 2 wedding open houses hosted at Scribner Bend and the staff greeted us so warmly, remembering our names and making us feel right at home. We also got to know some of their incredible preferred vendors such as Jackie’s Flowers, Rain from Paesanos Catering, and the Elegant Events Media Team. They continued to be great to work with, super communicative, flexible, and open to any and all ideas that we had to execute our wedding vision flawlessly. Leading up to wedding day and at our rehearsal practice, the day of coordinator, Hillary, was so great and organized, making us feel at ease and confident for anything that wedding day could throw at us. Scribner Bend Vineyards could not have been a more stunning wedding venue. The Bungalow was a great spot for getting ready and it was so fun to hang out with the girls and watch the guests arrive through the window on the upper level of the house. The vineyard was absolutely gorgeous, golden hour in the vineyard was dreamy, guests loved all of the various seating areas throughout the whole night to chat with family and friends. The food was so delicious and well organized. The staff was all so friendly and accommodating (Hillary brought champagne for us after we walked back down the aisle before we escaped for our sunset photos, the Paesanos catering team fixed us plates of appetizers and dinner and set up our sweetheart table with everything that we needed). Our grand entrance through the barn doors onto the dance floor with the guests circled around the hedges was a major highlight, and the fountain filled with flowers was picture perfect. It has meant the world to us to hear that so many of our guests who attended our wedding have been telling us that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. Overall, we would so highly recommend Scribner Bend Vineyards for anyone, we would 1000% get married here again. We will be recommending it to all of our friends in the hopes that one day we will get to be the guests at such an awesome wedding venue. Will add more pictures of the venue itself on our wedding day once we get more professionals back :)”

They offer multiple settings for your day to flow smoothly from start to finish. Guests will arrive through a gorgeous garden featuring a whimsical fountain and ivy-covered entrance. Then, they will make their way to the Grand Lawn. As you exchange your vows, you'll have their vineyards and Hayes Valley, studded with oak trees, as your backdrop. For cocktail hour, guests will move to Mulberry Grove. Dinner will take place under the stars on the Grand Terrace. Finally, you'll be able to dance the night away in the Grand Salon. This full-service venue has been a part of the wedding industry since 2002.

“* Tour * We fell in love with Clos LaChance Vineyards (now CordeValle Winery) the moment we stepped onto property. We were looking for a winery wedding venue that could host up to 200 guests and where you could see vineyards from the ceremony and/or reception site; Clos has exactly that plus a golf course view! Our tour with Kristin Murphy ended with some wine tasting, both red and white. * Pre-Wedding * Kristin was incredible to work with! We had a lot of questions during the wedding planning process and she always had answers! Kristin was quick to respond via email and very accommodating when it came to special requests. Something that can’t go unnoticed was her expertise in the wedding industry and how knowledgeable she is to the property. * Wedding Day * The Clos LaChance event staff took care of everything day of wedding. They set up all of our signage in the exact location we asked for it to be placed. They placed our appetizers at our sweetheart table since we weren’t able to join Cocktail Hour. Not only did they take good care of us and our guests, the food that Chef Lu cooked was delicious (although we knew this coming out of the food tasting). * Overall * We would highly recommend Clos LaChance to anyone looking to host an elegant wedding. * Clos LaChance will always have a special place in our hearts. “We toured several venues, but Guglielmo’s permanent tent and rustic Italian storybook village surrounding is what sold it for us. Also, they had a package deal full of excellent local vendors! We went without a planner, which is risky, of course- but we did it and it wasn’t that hard- simply because with the all-inclusive package, the vendor vetting and research were very easy. Our initial point of contact left the company about a month after we signed, but the woman training under her, Brianna, did a great job assuming the role and owning the position. The wedding was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The space is so naturally beautiful that when the decorations and settings are placed- it’s just next level simple, rustic luxury. This place is ultimate romance.”

“This review is long overdue. The staff was really amazing in coordinating our perfect wedding right from the beginning. We were planning our big day from out of state, which you would think would cause a few hiccups but the staff at J Winston Winery made everything very easy. Taylor Kinsey, Operations manager, was always quick to respond, provided great recommendations, had tremendous patience and was very professional throughout the entire process. They offered a package to buy out the winery at a very reasonable price so we didn’t have to worry about uninvited guests or rush any last minute details. The wine packages were just as reasonable; the only tough decision here was deciding which ones to serve. The newly built barn, where we hosted our reception was beautifully done. It had all the right touches with very little need for additional decorations. The day before the wedding we were able to setup/prep anything we needed to and of course enjoyed some of their amazing wine. We were really appreciative of them working closely with our multiple vendors prior to wedding day and getting them all set up on our special day. We can’t thank them enough for making our special day truly magical. We still visit the winery when we’re in town and to this day continue to thank them for the great job they did and reminiscence on the fun we had. Thank you John and the J Winston Winery team for being there for us especially Taylor and Leyla!”
