Our photographer heard we were looking for an officiant for our wedding, and passed along Miriam’s information. From the moment we connected with her, we felt her warm and friendly energy and felt totally at ease about planning our wedding ceremony! Before we met Miriam, we were not really sure what we wanted our wedding to be, but we did know we wanted it to be written by us, and as a queer couple we did not want a “traditional” wedding. It started off feeling overwhelming with so many details to plan overall, but as soon as we met with Miriam, we felt completely at ease and even excited about the process! She thoughtfully and creatively wove all the important elements we hoped for into a beautiful ceremony, down to every detail. She was open to our ideas, and supportive through every step of the way, right up until we were there in the moment getting married, and even after the ceremony.
