This Day Forward provides officiant services for the Finger Lakes area, including Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse. We began as a way to help people who desire to have ceremonies and life rituals that are meaningful to them. We believe that nothing is more important to the integrity of being human than recognizing that fact through intentional acts of celebration, remembrance, and recognition that ceremonies embody.

Specializing in wedding ceremonies and vow renewals we welcome those from all faiths, backgrounds and beliefs. We love working collaboratively to develop a personalized ceremony that best reflects a couple's vision and values.

    Professional and personalized service!

    David was an absolute pleasure to work with! David is extremely professional and seamlessly provides a balance of guidance and helpful suggestions, with personalization and collaboration in creating your wedding ceremony. David provided options for readings and vows to include in our ceremony, while giving us complete freedom to add anything specific that is meaningful to us. David even shared the idea of a wine and letter box as a part of our ceremony, which we loved! He also weaved our unique experiences and memories into the ceremony in a meaningful way. My husband and I did not want a religious ceremony, which David accommodated easily. David is also highly responsive and dependable. David was early for our ceremony, and communicated when he sent in our marriage license for us, to give us peace of mind. My husband and I highly recommend David as an officiant!
