I have a lot to offer, and I do things differently than most other photographers. More than anything, I want to make sure I’m the perfect fit for your wedding. My style and approach is a generous mix of documentary and editorial-style portraiture. For the majority of the day, I stay very hands off, focusing 100% on the story. You won’t find me asking you or your friends to stage or recreate moments, but you will find me ready to capture those moments before they even happen. During portraits, it’s a little different. I give plenty of direction, working to bring creative ideas and poses to make images that are as unique as the people in them.

Shooting weddings is what brings me the most fulfillment and joy. It is pretty amazing when your passion can become your career. I understand the importance of capturing the authenticity and uniqueness of your love. The most rewarding aspect of my work is seeing the joy, sacrifice, beauty and love in marriage. Hej, I’m Anders, originally from Denmark, I made the move to the United States in 2019 to marry my wonderful wife, Kristin. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and I've coupled that with my love for adventure. Whether it's traveling the world, scuba diving, hiking, or ultra running, I've always found ways to incorporate photography into these experiences. However, everything changed for me when I shot my first wedding. Being part of such a special day, filled with love and magic, made me realize that this is what I truly want to do.

I captured my first wedding in August of 2018, it was the day I fell head over heels in love with wedding photography. It's all about capturing the love story for me..the feels from beginning to end. Hello! I am Mackenzie. I have been a photographer for over 10 years now and have loved every single second to of it. I live in Villa Park but shoot all over the Chicagoland area and have travelled all over the country for weddings and events! My husband is usually my second shooter and I feel so lucky I get to work with him. I am all about murder mystery novels, Harry Potter and Jurassic Park. I have tattoos and pink hair and love color which I think shows up pretty vibrant in my work!

In winter of 2017, I married my best friend & now we live in a sweet little suburb just an hour outside of Chicago enjoying the views & peacefulness of living a bit more rural. Our fuzzy puppies Willow & Watson, (Wheaten Terriers who think they're human) love it too! 13 years of wedding experience has prepared me to capture your most cherished moments and turn them into heirlooms.
