A native of Oregon, Megan Bamford found her calling to cuisine when she was just a tot. In July of 2013, she was named Pastry Chef on Team USA, a role in which she will always consider being one of the most rewarding experiences in her life. She believes that cooking with fresh ingredients and having a positive attitude are the most powerful tools in the kitchen. Most recently Megan traded her chef coat for a lab coat and studied Food Science and Micro Biology at Penn State. As of May 2017 Megan finally made her way back to west coast to open Bamford Bakeshop with her family.

We are the premier organic artisan bakery to also create from scratch complete vegan and gluten free weddings, in the Yosemite National Park and Sierra Mountains Region, with delivery to all major lodges, the areas many stunning wedding locations and any private venues. Our services include delivery and full set-up on the day of your wedding as well as consultations and cake tastings by appointment. We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

We offer everything from small cakes for elopements to multi tiered wedding cakes, as well as full sweets tables. We have rentals available also including a donut wall. We also have had the honor of being chosen for destination weddings including in Mexico.
