“Maidenwood was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we reached out, the team there was quick to respond, thorough in their communication, and incredibly friendly. The venue itself was beautiful, clean, and absolutely adorable - exactly the cozy, charming vibe we were going for. Steve, the owner, also served as our DJ and kept the dance going all night. Our coordinator Jana was great to work with, ensuring the entire day ran smoothly and that all of our requests were fulfilled. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we're so grateful to the Maidenwood team for helping make our special day so perfect.”

“What a treasure! I recently delivered and set up florals I created for a wedding. I had never been to the nursery/venue before, and I must say my curiosity was peaked. Wow…this was more magical than I could have imagined! Not only is the property historical, the charms of the buildings and patios were like walking through an English garden. Upon going inside, I was again, enamored with the vibe of this venue! It had a modern rustic charm to it- bright white walls, warm wood features & an antique garden gazebo, among other unique features. It was enchanting to say the least! It is perfect for an intimate event. It has plenty of space for many guest tables, features tables (food, photo) and photo opportunities. The natural light through the windows that look out onto the patio gardens provide a perfect blend of letting the beauty of nature in. The staff was very friendly, helpful & hospitable. I met several of the staff that day and you could tell they loved what they do out at Marketplatz. I am very much looking forward to my next event there.”

“We had our wedding here and overall had a beautiful experience! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and really speaks for itself—you truly don’t need to do much decorating to make it feel special. There are beautiful outdoor spaces, plenty of room for guests, and so many great spots for photos. We loved having so many options for both our wedding party and couple portraits. The downstairs getting-ready area is also very spacious, which was a huge plus for our wedding party. One thing to note is that the bridal suite only had a refrigerator, while the groom’s suite did not have one. For food, we ended up choosing the pasta bar. It was good and worked well for our guests, although it wasn’t necessarily the standout part of the meal. We originally considered the beef and chicken options, but after our tastings, we weren’t as impressed with those options and ultimately felt the pasta bar was the better choice for us. One of the biggest conveniences is that the venue can provide a large majority of what you need, which made planning easier. However, I would recommend comparing prices and asking questions about what is included, as some of the add-ons can be quite expensive. We also experienced some confusion throughout the planning process about what was and wasn’t included/provided for certain items. We worked with three different wedding coordinators during the process, so I think some of that may have been due to the coordinator transitions rather than the venue itself. That said, having everything clearly outlined in writing would have made the planning process much easier. We also want to give a huge shoutout to DJ Rick! He was fantastic to work with, very accommodating to some of the fun little requests we had, and did an amazing job keeping the energy up throughout the night. He kept our dance floor going and was a definite highlight of the reception! One other thing we would recommend to future couples is taking the website information with a grain of salt. The venue has changed and updated quite a bit, and we noticed that some of the photos and tour information online were outdated. The venue is even more beautiful in person, but the outdated information did make it a little confusing when trying to plan our décor and envision the space. Overall, we absolutely loved our wedding day and are so happy we chose this venue. There are a few things we would recommend future couples ask about and clarify during the planning process, but the beauty of the venue, the space, the photo opportunities, and the overall experience made it a wonderful place to celebrate our wedding. We would definitely recommend taking a tour and seeing it in person!”

It’s the perfect location for a ceremony and reception, with plenty of space for guests to play, eat, and roam around throughout the day. The farm at night, with all the lights, created a great atmosphere for drinks and dancing. The backdrop of the trees, and the barn, and water made beautiful wedding pictures.
