“My partner and I can’t express enough how much we absolutely loved having Goggleworks as our wedding venue! We met during college in our art program, so being able to have our wedding day in an arts building surrounded by beautiful artwork was so special. Goggleworks was one of the first places I happened upon while browsing venues in the area and I knew it was the one right away. Margaret was an absolute dream to work with and took all of the stress out of wedding planning - she was always quick to answer any questions we had and was consistently so helpful and kind up to the day. The space at Goggleworks is so very exceptional and unique (we chose room 238 for our full event - the market lights and exposed brick are positively dreamy!), the perfect size for our smaller wedding (we had around 50 guests attend), and very affordable! We were also able to set up the day before which was perfect. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and could not stop raving about it - we loved that everyone was able to walk around the center in between our ceremony and reception to view the art exhibits. One attendee said it was the first time they’d purchased a souvenir at a wedding (referring to the gift shop!) This is truly a hidden beautiful gem of a venue - we wish we could do it all over again and I would give 1000 stars review if I could! We also appreciate as a queer couple that this venue was 100% LGBTQ friendly and we were so comfortable and grateful. We truly cannot recommend Goggleworks enough and especially the absolute rockstar that is Margaret! Thank you for making our day the most perfect it could be!!”

“Beth Valgus, the catering sales manager of the Harrisburg Hilton, flawlessly coordinated my wedding venue. She accommodated all my questions and concerns before, during and after the event. Beth and her team were incredible and always on the ball with questions and concerns and were always there to problem solve with me. Myself and many other guests had multiple food allergies and they were able to manage each one flawlessly. “We recently had our wedding at Bear Mill Estate. It's a truly beautiful venue and it exceeded all of our expectations. The grounds offer so many wonderful places to take photos. The cocktail/reception area have many unique spaces were guests could relax, dance, and socialize without getting stuck at their assigned tables. And we can't say enough good things about the day of coordinator, Troy, who was amazing at the usual wedding chaos (kids, dog, demanding guests, etc) but also kept our wedding together despite one difficult vendor. Our guests were constantly raving about how beautiful and unique the venue was. If you're having a small to medium size wedding, we absolutely recommend Bear Mill, and would gladly book them for our next (non-wedding) event.”

He took the time to explain all the packages available and even adjusted his recommendations to match our guest count, and never pushed us toward anything we didn’t need. He also shared helpful budget-friendly tips to make our day even more special and affordable. When we returned a second time for a renovation event, Luis remembered us instantly, greeting us with a big hug and even gave a personal tour, which expressed how much the staff genuinely care about their guests. Later, we had the pleasure of working with the new director, Dara, who went above and beyond to guide us through every step of the wedding-planning process. Whether it was through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings, she made sure we had everything we needed. She was very polite and informative and always had a smile on her face. On our wedding day, she checked in with us multiple times throughout the day to ensure every detail went smooth and perfect. When talking about the food, all I have to say is it was absolutely phenomenal. Stokesay Castle’s menu offered a variety of delicious options, and while we had to narrow down our wedding-day menu, we also got to sample the rest at our rehearsal dinner the night before. Everything we tried was outstanding. The castle building itself is the perfect blend of modern elegance as well as old-time medieval appeal. It has stunning scenery, a beautiful outdoor ceremony area, snd spacious getting-ready rooms for both bride and groom. The gorgeous grand ballroom comfortably accommodated our 112 guests with room to spare, and it was everything we envisioned. Each time I visited Stokesay Castle I fell in love with it all over again, and that’s when I knew it was the place for us.”

“Look no further than The Booking House. The Booking House was the very first wedding venue we toured and I fell in love instantly. The venue speaks for itself; there is so much character and is such a beautiful venue. The staff are incredible! Brittany is amazing- her communication from the very beginning was prompt and professional, she’s so friendly and I don’t think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. We booked both the day of coordination and in house bartending services and everything was amazing. Emilie was fantastic to work with to help us curate the perfect bar menu for our wedding day and is able to assist with recommendations. Aalea was our day of coordinator and I there are no words for how amazing she is. Whenever someone would ask me about how the wedding was the only thing I could say was “absolutely perfect” and that’s no exaggeration. “Overall, we had a great experience with Evergreene Venue. At first we were a bit skeptical because communication was slow and inconsistent, but as the wedding day got closer, they really stepped up. Nina, the venue coordinator, was absolutely fabulous - she made sure everyone was where they needed to be before, during, and after the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. She also made sure my husband and I got a bite to eat between ceremony and reception, and was even kind enough to help bustle my dress before our reception entrance. Nina truly made our wedding the success that it was. The venue itself was bright, beautiful, and had great views. The service from the venue employees was also wonderful. There were a few small things here and there that could have been better (some of the cocktail food items and reception dinner were a bit cold, and one of the dessert options changed day-of without our knowledge), but other than that, my husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience at Evergreene Venue. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on how wonderful it was. Definitely recommend for your big day!”

“I cannot put into words how HIGHLY I recommend Glasbern. The ceremony space, reception space, guest rooms and grounds were so beautiful and the exact vibe we were going for. Megan and Morgan, the events manager and our day-of coordinator were my guardian angels, dealing with every request and question I had and taking every bit of stress away from me. The entire staff was perfection and treated us all amazingly. The food is incredible and the bartenders kept up with our VERY thirsty group. We were in the Glasloft, which is the smaller of their two event spaces (we had 70 guests), and even with another wedding happening at the same time, we never felt like anything was happening except our wedding.”

Kevin was with us every step of the way from the initial walk-through to food tastings to rehearsal all the way through to the wedding. “What an amazing venue! From the moment we toured and signed our contract, to the day after our wedding when we picked everything up (that was nearly packed for us), this place was seriously the best! Mollie and Alana were so great to work with the year leading up to our wedding, always available to answer questions and bounce ideas off of. Emily, our DOC, was truly AMAZING! She was so attentive to not only our entire wedding day and party, but to my husband and I. Any time I turned around she was right there ready to do whatever I asked. The ceremony summit terrace and the cocktail hour courtyard are both beautiful and intimate while also providing plenty of space. The food and service was excellent. The wedding staff will truly make any vision come to life for your wedding. “Our wedding at Valley Run Farm was absolutely lovely and working with the Yost family was exceptional. Lynn was extremely helpful in every aspect. From beginning to end, her friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail was spot on. The venue was able to accommodate our large wedding party and guests comfortably. They converted a pole barn/riding arena into a charming reception area which includes a bar, restrooms, 2 secluded bridal party rooms, and an outside patio area with exceptional views. In addition to the beautiful wooden tables and chairs, Lynn offered items, like table clothes, vases, lanterns, and other rustic decorations that we used on our special day. The Yost family was onsite and available for anything we needed during the rehearsal dinner and wedding day! I can’t thank them enough for making our best day perfect!”

“We got married at RCC on April 5th. This was an amazing venue. They renovated the building from top to bottom and did a lot of outside landscaping. We had our rehearsal dinner at Jacks on the Green in a private room, the food was great and the service was on point. We had our Wedding ceremony inside and it turned out perfect. The dance floor is very big and our guests loved the outside patios. There’s so many great areas here for pictures. Dan, Kayla, and Brianna were great to work with. They’re very professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have. We highly recommend you checking out this venue.”

“My husband and I got married at Cameron Estate Inn on 11/2/24, and we had the most magical day. The grounds and venue are beautiful. We were having a relatively large wedding and loved the idea of our family getting to stay at the Inn. We rented the entire Inn and had the whole place to ourselves for the day. Every staff member we encountered throughout the day of went above and beyond. Multiple guests have told me how nice all the staff were and that they had a wonderful time. Cathi was great to work with throughout wedding planning and even did some last minute magic to make sure it was the most beautiful space I could have ever imagined. Wish the sound system could be a little louder as we had a loud bunch for our guests, but that's a neighbor issue, not a Cameron Estate issue. We had such a blast and can't believe it's over!”

“Landis Valley Farm & Museum was the absolute perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception! We knew when we were looking at venues that we wanted it in a barn setting and for the place to have a laid-back, fun, and casual feel. Landis was exactly that and more! Not only is the site maintained with the utmost care, but every building at the farm is so exquisitely quaint and beautifully rustic. Such a gorgeous place as a whole, especially for pictures during our big day. We knew during our very first meeting with Katelyn, our venue coordinator, that we were in good hands. Katelyn was experienced, professional, knowledgeable, and available by email at what seemed like the drop of a hat for all of our questions, big or small, leading up to our day. She was extremely organized and clear on expectations of what we should anticipate in having an event here. Like for example, making it clear from the day we scoped out the venue that it is an a la carte type venue, and we would be responsible for reaching out to all vendors that we would want to hire. She did provide a list of vendors that past weddings had used, which was extremely helpful, and we were lucky to find a few from that list, along with the others that we researched on our own. Katelyn’s attentiveness even the week of our wedding was so comforting. Along with our day of coordinator (that we hired from Fancy Peacock), Katelyn assisted in executing a check-in schedule for all of our vendors the day of, and everything went so smoothly! Landis does provide two attendants, one during the day and one night, who oversee the property - thanks, Dave and Elliot! Overall, if you don’t mind some DIY, and finding most vendors on your own like my husband and I, Landis makes for a dream come true wedding venue!”
