Formed in the Washington area, Veronneau quickly gained widespread recognition for their live shows – the recognition became international with the release of their debut album Joie de Vivre – Joy of Living, released in 2011. The album went to #9 in the Jazzweek World Music chart and had extensive radio play throughout the US and Europe, leading to shows in the UK, where the band performed live on BBC Radio, and in Canada. La Mer,the 1930’s French song from the album, has become a major hit on internet radio and Youtube where it has garnered over 30,000 views.

With a father who loves Miles Davis and a mother who adores Smokey Robinson, Cecily grew up surrounded by the music in her parents vast record collection, and was captivated by the works of Minnie Riperton, Gil Scott-Heron, Anita Baker, and Phyllis Hyman. After college, Cecily looked to these rich, soulful sounds from her childhood, and channeled them into her own music. Known for her sweet soprano, honest lyrics and pure vocals, Cecily brings her own vulnerability to each song, telling her story, and hopes that, at the end, the audience feels vulnerable enough to tell their own stories.

The Archives began when Thievery Corporation’s Eric Hilton began a quest to explore the roots of reggae music. Led by producer/ keyboard ace Darryl “D-Trane” Burke, all members have recorded and toured internationally with acts like Eek-A-Mouse, Black Uhuru, Culture, Don Carlos and more,” Burke explains. “We weave together the best of foundation reggae roots, rock steady, early dub and dancehall influences.

Nickoli Andrews is I&I Riddim’s dynamic lead vocalist. This spirited singer’s love for music is rooted in Kingston Jamaica where he was born, and in Westmoreland where he was raised. Nickoli is known for his passionate high energy performances. He is a true entertainer and composer who excites and electrifies his audiences with tunes from a variety of music genres, but his true love is rockin’ the reggae.

Jill started DJing in 2003 for Associated Consultants, for schools, nightclubs, weddings & corporate events! She has been the DJ for Linedanceforyou, an organization that teaches line dances of all styles, since 2006, which serves the Northern Va. area on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Because Jill is also a professional musician, she is made constantly aware of all genres of music, by engaging with the public 7 days a week. She can easily play a night of Latino, trap, country, oldies, and current dance tunes but also has a children’s library of songs for school events.

Starting at the age of 10, Jocelyn always had a passion for music and enjoyed watching her father DJ. As a quick learner, and now at the age of 24, Jocelyn has now become a well-seasoned and a highly sought after DJ in the DMV area. Her music portfolio consists of 30,000 plus songs stemming from Big Band, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Pop, to Hip Hop. She has performed in over 50+ venues, some included are Grand Ballrooms, Country Clubs, Smithsonian Castle, to local night clubs and backyard BBQ’s. Washington DC-based vocalist Kevin Rose has been praised as “a performer with skill and confidence, not to mention a gorgeous, clear voice.” A versatile singer, Kevin can shift styles with ease from pop and jazz to musical theater and classical music. This is evidenced by his varied resume; in 2017 Kevin performed in the US tour of Dido and Aeneas with the Mark Morris Dance Group, and was also invited to bring his cabaret series “If Not Now, When?” to the historic Metropolitan Room in NYC. Bridget, the female lead singer, performed several times with John Legend on ABC’s Duets. She also toured internationally and sang in the film, The Sin Seer.

The Bele Bele Rhythm Collective is an intergenerational, diverse group of ~20 women from DC and surrounding areas who all share a passion for drumming. Founded in 2008 and led by Drumlady Kristen Arant, the BBRC performs tightly sewn compositions of polyrhythms on dun-uns and djembes, along with exciting breaks, contagious songs, and dancing. The BBRC performs to celebrate unity and diversity, and to spread the joy and power of West African drumming to the community at-large. The BBRC recently released their first album, “Roots.”

The Satin Doll Trio is an elegant ensemble that performs in the intimate "supper club" jazz style made popular by artists such as Julie London, Sarah Vaughan, and Peggy Lee during the early 1950's. They have appeared on the stages of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Corcoran Gallery’s Armand Hammer Auditorium, and have made television appearances on the BET Jazz channel programs "Jazz Central" and "Impressions". At the request of the U.S. Department of State, Big Hillbilly Bluegrass has toured Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the Dominican Republic over the past several years, thus crowning Big Hillbilly Bluegrass as America’s defacto Bluegrass Ambassadors.

Founded in 2010 by bassist, Daniel Gallagher and Guitarist Josh Earls; Chasing Autumn started out under the name “Sullivan”. Sullivan played acoustic duet style songs and quickly moved on to more elaborate songs, adding vocals and more instruments. In 2013, preceding the release of their 3rd album “Northern Lights” the band saw the addition of singer, Logan Harpine. With this lineup, the band released two more albums, a Folk influenced EP titled “It’s Alright”, and an extensive 19 song full album titled “New Beginnings”.

Cristian has performed with many of the best musicians in the Washington DC area (i.e.: Victor Provost, Joe McCarthy, John Kocur, Emmanuel Trifilio, etc.) and played at some of the top venues in the Metropolitan area, such as Blues Alley, Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, Bohemian Caverns, Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club, and Twins Jazz. Cristian has performed in Canada and Dominican Republic, and in 2011, he performed as part of the GMU Jazz Ensemble in Shanghai and Beijing. Recently, Cristian has toured Bolivia and Korea.

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised by the world, Eli Lev is a traveler, self-proclaimed folk hero, and a passionate musician Eli performs as a solo artist and now with his new band, The Fortunes Found – featuring the powerful rhythms of DC all-star drummer Michael Miraglia; big bass tones of wunderkind bassist Bojan Novevski from Macedonia, and mandolin player Corey Thuro from Baltimore who maintains a folk grounding while exploring the brave tones afforded to him by his expansive pedalboard.
