Rabbi Jacques Cukierkorn, a Brazilian native and descendant of Polish rabbis, has led Temple Israel of Greater Kansas City since 2011. Ordained in 1994 with degrees in psychology and Hebrew Letters, he is a prolific author of Jewish texts in several languages. He lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with his wife, Denisse, and their two daughters.
