Heritage Park and Clarke estate are two hidden gem venues I love telling future clients about along with friends and family. Working there as a preferred vendor for nearly 5 years now has been a great experience as a vendor and for my clients as well. Working together with a venue to ensure the couples day is going well without a hitch is very important and let me tell you Leanne and her staff consistently work together and hard to make sure of that. Not only are both venues historic they're also affordable. That is a perfect combination for a venue Especially when people need to accommodate large guests 200-300 guests. Highly recommend both venues I do work more at heritage Park since their guest capacity is 300 but I always look forward to working with Leanne. Always a great experience.

We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception here and couldn't be happier with our choice of venue. Zoey, the recreation coordinator, worked with us from booking until day-before rehearsal and last minute layout changes to accommodate an unexpected heat wave during our wedding. She was so helpful and professional and went above and beyond to make sure we had a plan A and plan B for the weather. We ended up moving the ceremony to the courtyard for shade and moving the reception inside to the grand hall, and it turned out beautifully. Not only was this an affordable option and we are happy with where our money went, but we received very professional, warm, and timely communication and assistance from Zoey from start to finish. Highly recommend hosting your wedding or event here!

This location was perfect!!!! I honestly couldn't have been more pleased with how easy the owners made my planning. Loved that we were able to bring outside vendors for food. They are family owned and let me tell you they make you feel like family. That was one of my favorite things about this venue. Karis was amazing. She is one of the owners and was so welcoming. I loved that they had all the things I needed and had connections if they didn't. This made planning stress-free. I didn't have to call around to find chairs/tables/linen/heaters etc. My guests were all amazed with how unique and beautiful the venue was. The Anaheim Hotel was an amazing venue for our wedding weekend! We held our entire wedding weekend (Welcome Dinner, Ceremony and Reception) at the Anaheim Hotel and are so glad we chose to work with them. The poolside Cabana added a touch of elegance and allowed our guests to mingle in a relaxed atmosphere. Our guests enjoyed watching the Disneyland fireworks poolside as the night wound down. The Veranda Lawn is a beautiful space for a ceremony and the ballroom is a fun space for a reception - spacious enough for our large guest list, yet intimate enough for heartfelt moments. Jamie from the hotel was great to work with planning our weekend. She is detailed, accommodating and has an upbeat attitude. She listened to our preferences and made our dreams come true. A short example of her attention to detail and care: our wedding day was hotter than forecasted and on the day of, she asked if we would want to set up umbrellas for our guests to keep them comfortable. She had them set up on short notice, making sure they were placed them exactly as we had asked. That attentive and professional attitude extended to the staff, they anticipating our needs before we even asked. The hotel's ability to host both the ceremony and reception made planning so much easier. The food was quite good, nearly every guest completely finished their plate. The bar team is stellar, everybody enjoyed their drinks. If you are looking for a beautiful space that will seamlessly host your wedding, look no further. The Grass Room / Marvimon team was SUCH a delight to work with for our wedding, which took place early December, 2024. Dana and Clare made the whole process so easy, comfortable and fun- they're lovely people and extremely organized. Grass Room itself is a stunning space. We chose it specifically because it really requires no additional decor; it's perfect as-is. The greenhouse gardens are so lovingly taken care of and so lush- our photos turned out so beautifully! The customizable lighting, the sound system, DJ booth, projector...everything about the space was just easy and intuitive. Their venue policies are straightforward, and they have a ton of supplementary material, guides and photos to share that were a huge help in the planning process. Having no restrictions on vendors was awesome for us, and the process of setting up a new-to-Marvimon vendor with them was easy breezy. We're not planning to get married again, but we'll be recommending Grass Room and the Marvimon properties to all of our friends and family. And if we ever have a reason to throw another big party- we know exactly where we'll go.

The Majestic Downtown

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 550 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor

The Majestic Downtown is unlike any other wedding venue in Los Angeles. The magic is in the history of the arched windows, in the curve of the marble pillars, in the intricacy of the hand-painted ceiling. We are the venue for the couples who notice the details and want something utterly timeless and one-of-a-kind. We recognize that everyone has different visions of their big day, which is why we are one of the few venues that allows you to bring in all of your own vendors. While we have an excellent in-house caterer, their services are an option, not a requirement. Even the crystals that cascade from the chandeliers are removable, so that we may transition from rustic to glamorous in the span of a couple of hours. The complete freedom to make your vision a reality is what makes us unique.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides setup and cleanup
  • Venue is completely outdoors
  • Classic, vintage atmosphere

Venue considerations

  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
The Majestic was a DREAM to work with, we also used Ashton as our coordinator and she was a GOD SEND. Our guests still talk about our wedding and how smoothly everything went, and that was hands down thanks to Ashton and her team. They were all super easy to work with, very communicative, overall an amazing experience!

The venue was just incredible. We picked it because of the historical background as well as the fact that we knew we wouldn't need to add much to make it beautiful. I’m loving all of the texts from guests letting us know what a beautiful and unique venue we had. Venue considerations

There are so many positive things that I’d like to share about the La Cañada Thursday Club! I first toured the venue about 2 years ago and fell in love the moment I saw the courtyard. The beautiful big trees, the way the bright pink bougainvillea plants draped around the entrance gates, and the fountain with the beautiful teal Spanish tiles.. it was everything I could want and more! The garden out front is the perfect area to take photos with its shady green trees. My absolute favorite detail are the beautiful deep teal doors! Another perfect area for photos. The ballroom is equally beautiful! While the space does hold up to 130 people, it’s the perfect place for an intimate celebration and I loved that there was a tearoom area for our Photo Booth and dessert/coffee area. We absolutely loved our wedding! We loved working with Ani. You can truly tell that she enjoys doing what she does because she showed us so much care during the planning process, she always made us laugh, always checked in to ask how we were doing/feeling. She was professional and showed great attention to detail, made sure to answer any question we had and most importantly made sure we were happy! She worked well with our wedding coordinator and vendors and worked alongside Jose (venue maintenance worker). Ani even left us the sweetest message on our audio guest book (After the Tone). I’m so happy to have her voice recorded in our messages, she helped make our day so special and I will always thank her. Everything flowed so seamlessly! I also have to give praise to Jose, who does the maintenance and help around the venue. The day before our wedding we were able to access the venue to set up, drop off items, and Jose was there helping our family, answering questions. Even the day of the wedding Jose was there to step in and help and would check in our our guests as well! Our guests raved on how beautiful the venue and how helpful the staff was. We truly feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate our special day at the La Cañada Thursday Club. I wish I could relive our wedding day all over again, you could just feel the presence of so much love in the room. Thank you so much to Ani & Jose for making our wedding so beautiful and special!

I recently had an event at what can only be described as a stunning outdoor oasis, and I’m still in awe of the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely flawless. The venue itself is a true gem — an idyllic outdoor setting that made for the perfect backdrop to the celebration. They even have a whole fire pit area tucked away in the back! Whether you were enjoying the scenery or the vibrant atmosphere, it felt like stepping into a paradise. The Baja-inspired food was beyond delicious — fresh, flavorful, and packed with so much variety. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and it paired perfectly with the MOST amazing cocktails! The drink selection was next-level, with creative, expertly crafted options that elevated the entire event. What really made this experience stand out, though, was the impeccable service. The planning process was seamless, with clear communication every step of the way. The team was incredibly responsive and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. During the event itself, the entire Tacolina team was so hospitable, efficient, friendly, and so professional — it truly felt like everything had been thought of in advance, which made the event stress-free and enjoyable.
