Variegated Designs

4.5

Indianapolis, IN

Hi, I'm Laura! I’m inspired by the colorful beauty of nature, and I’m passionate about sharing that beauty with others. I love to create lush, vibrant floral bouquets that reflect my client's unique personality and style (e.g. chic, rustic, romantic, fantasy, gothic, etc.). I love eating good food, changing my hair color, haunting thrift stores, playing board games, attempting yoga poses, knitting, and snuggling with my two spunky rescue pups.

When Lauren and I were planning our wedding, we were unsure as to how all the logistics would work leading up to the day (and even on the day itself!). When we got connected with Variegated Designs, all sense of confusion and anxiety about coordinating our special day was settled. We met Laura and she was FANTASTIC. Her personality matched ours so well, she met with us multiple times in various locations that fit our schedule, and provided a NUMBER of amazing recommendations for our wedding. When the special day came, she was on it from start to finish. Great at communicating, facilitating vendors, and keeping things on track. If you need a coordinator, I highly recommend! And at easily one of the most affordable investments, Variegated Designs is a no-brainer.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

      5.0

      Oklahoma City, OK
      • Serves Indianapolis, IN

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

I was a little concerned about doing my own flowers as I am not artistic or good at that kind of thing, but Flower Moxie made the entire process so easy!! I did a customized order so I was able to work with a professional florist to get exactly what I wanted. They were extremely helpful from picking out the flowers, to how to build them, to timelines, and everything else you needed. I 100% recommend these services! I saved so much money and had such a fun time doing it!!!

      The Faux Bouquets

      5.0

      Redlands, CA
      • Starts at $175
      • Serves Indianapolis, IN

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

      Awarded Best of Zola
Loved my experience with TFB. Wouldn’t change a thing if I had to do it again. Knew from the onset I wanted faux flowers and these exceeded expectations. I got tons of compliments and they look phenomenal in our pictures.

Alison with Bloom Culture really puts SO much work into making the DIY process as easy as possible! Her YouTube videos and DIY proposal guides are extremely detailed, and it was honestly a blast to put together my own florals for my wedding. I got a group of friends together and we all built the bouquets/boutonnieres/etc two days before the wedding, and it was so much fun! I got to make everything exactly the way I envisioned, and the flowers turned out sooooo beautiful! Such a great experience!
