Almquist Farm is a fifth generation family farm homesteaded by Charles Almquist after he immigrated from Sweden in 1890. Our 75 acres of rolling hills and oak trees provide a spacious setting for a one location all day wedding celebration. Our heated and air-conditioned buildings give you the confidence of having a comfortable farm wedding regardless of the weather.

From the moment you pass through the palatial gated entrance onto the private drive, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped off a plane and are no longer just minutes from the hustle and noise of Minneapolis. Lush, rolling hills beside meadows rich with wildflowers give way to acres of noble oak tree groves. Beyond the enchanting half mile drive through the canopy of the stately oaks, the meticulously manicured rose gardens emerge; and tucked in quiet opulence, before its own private lake, lies The Edward Anne Estate.

Greysolon by Black Woods, located along the shore of Lake Superior in Downtown Duluth, provides a variety of spaces for 10-350 guests. The Ballroom features exquisite details, such as hand-painted ceilings and magnificent chandeliers. Wedding parties can enjoy private rooms to comfortably get ready in the natural light of the floor length windows the morning of your wedding. This historic Ballroom has been beautifully restored to create a unique venue for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and special events in Duluth. The Moorish Room, perfect for weddings of up to 200, also offers a unique ambience within your budget. Start your special day off in luxury with our newly added Moorish Chambers. The majestic Moorish Room will sweep your guests off their feet and back in time. The St. Louis County Depot is a landmark cornerstone of arts and cultural organizations that entertains, educates, inspires, and provides space for a diverse group of guests. The St Louis County Depot provides new, engaging experiences; is a destination and a community center; and fosters community through a diversity of education and entertainment that enhances the quality of life for visitors.

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

The Linden Hill Historic Estate sits along the banks of the Mississippi River in quaint Little Falls, Minnesota. The property boasts two 1898-built mansions, one of which serves as group lodging for wedding parties as well as an intimate ceremony and reception space. The other mansion on the estate serves as a museum for housing and displaying the thousands of original artifacts owned and used by the families who once called Linden Hill "home". The 9-acres of expansive grounds, lush perennial gardens and aged oak and pine trees provide a rustic, romantic backdrop for photos, ceremonies, receptions and more. Couples love that they can hold all of their wedding related events in one location and that they have an entire weekend to make priceless wedding memories with their closest friends and family. Everything from the rehearsal to the gift opening and post-wedding brunch can be held at this historic, one of a kind venue.

In 1900, Frank D. Stout inherited part of his father’s lumber fortune, moved to Chicago, and within a few years was one of the wealthiest men in the country. Stout's was built in 1903 by Frank D. Stout as a summer retreat for his family and modeled after the famous Adirondack camps. Over the past 25 years, new cabins have been erected and we now have a total of 43 guest rooms on the Island. Imagine a ceremony on the South Lawn with panoramic views of Red Cedar Lake or a tranquil gathering in the former Stout Family master bedroom with a wood-burning fireplace. Stout’s Island Lodge offers an elegant yet relaxed setting with a selection of private event spaces for intimate groups to large tented weddings for up to 175 guests. Stout’s Island Lodge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a member of Historic Hotels of America.

The Rose House is in a unique and historic building that was built in 1925. It is most widely known for being the elegant and delightful “Hot Fish Shop” for many years. The upper level which is currently inoperable was once known as the Belmont Hotel. We spent the first half of 2019 working hard to expose the beauty in these walls and give it a flare of our own. Our goal is to provide you with a classy, historic, and artsy “blank canvas” allowing for your events to be just that, yours. The Lowell Inn, located in the heart of historic downtown Stillwater, MN is just steps from unique shopping, attractions and the scenic St. Croix River. Established in 1927 and on the National Historic Register, the Lowell Inn offers 23 beautifully restored, private romantic guest rooms featuring today’s amenities, and 12 contemporary rooms in the new annex. The Lowell Inn also features a banquet hall as well as event rooms for smaller events.

For centuries, the beauty and natural treasures of the St. Croix Valley have drawn people to the area which is now Stillwater. The first to call this area home were the Sioux and Chippewa Nations. Later, the first traders and trappers in Minnesota Territory settled here. By the mid 1880’s, railroading and river activity helped build the community into a bustling town of 13,000 people. Stillwater became the trade center for miners and trappers to the North, and farmers and lumbermen to the West. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad eventually saw a need for a freight depot. In 1979, the historical significance of the building was recognized and the Freight House became the first building in Stillwater to be placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
