The Sunset Coffee Building is located at 1019 Commerce Street, Houston, TX at the intersection of Main Street and Buffalo Bayou next to Allen’s Landing, the “Plymouth Rock” of the City of Houston. Built in 1910, the Sunset Coffee Building was originally a coffee roasting company. In the late 60’s it was home to the Love Street Light Circus, a psychedelic music club featuring many local bands. In 2003, the building was purchased by Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) as part of the organization’s master plan to revitalize Buffalo Bayou. The Sunset Coffee Building offers three rentable spaces for special events. The Rooftop Terrace looks out over the intersection of Buffalo and White Oak Bayous, the original site of the Port of Houston. The Café 1st floor level is an enclosed industrial style space with a balcony overlooking the bayous. The Plaza, located between the building and Commerce Street, is a perfect space for small concerts, festivals and receptions.

We specialize in beautiful low stress wedding ceremonies and receptions AvantGarden is a one stop all inclusive wedding venue, florist and coordinator. We offer dj services, full bar services, valet parking services and all the amenities to make your special day wonderful and fun!

The Revaire is a timeless venue for modern couples. Our stylish and versatile space will be the perfect backdrop for your celebration. At The Revaire, we do so much more than simply open the doors. Our experienced team will customize your food and beverage menus with our in-house caterer, A Fare Extraordinaire, provide service staff and rentals, create event timelines and diagrams, and coordinate audio/visual, valet, and security. This Fall the Astorian proudly debuts Le Tesserae, a 20,000 square-foot indoor/outdoor private event space and rooftop bar overlooking Buffalo Bayou. Conceived by Andria design to replicate New York City’s revered Grand Central Station, The Astorian is a throwback to 1920’s glamour and Art Deco design.
