Noblewood Florals
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Houston, DE

Amy started working as a grocery store floral designer in 1991. Amy then went on to get a plant science degree from the University of Delaware. Amber, (being 8 years younger than Amy) had no choice but to learn how to design flowers when Amy opened a flower shop in 2000. The shop closed after Amy moved. Amy and Amber still designed flowers for friends and family and then in 2017 they decided to open Noblewood Florals! Noblewood Florals is an event only florist. We work out of our home but we can meet with potential clients anywhere in the state for consults!

Amy and Amber were awesome to work with. From the moment we met and discussed designs, I could tell we had found the perfect florist for our wedding. I showed them all my favorite bouquets and florals and wanted an original design to surprise me for our big day.. and they did just that. We were in awe of the magic they created and how perfect they saw our vision. I promise you, if you allow them to make your designs, you will not regret it!

  • Serves Houston, DE

Something Borrowed Blooms is the premier rent-and-return floral and décor company in the U.S., offering beautifully curated premium silk floral collections. Couples who choose to rent typically save up to 70% compared to the cost of traditional fresh flowers. Our collections include everything you need for your wedding day, from bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to boutonnieres, garlands, centerpieces, aisle markers, cake flowers, swags, flower combs and crowns, wedding décor, and more. Each design is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive, elevated look from ceremony to reception.

Awarded Best of Zola
Something Borrowed Blooms provided the florals for our wedding and their service was expert, clear, and concise, though lacked any personal touch. The quality of their work was great - the florals looked beautiful, especially from a distance, and they were competitively priced. However, their shipping turnaround time was awful, with the flowers due back just 2 days after the wedding. This is more of a business than a vendor, so don't expect a lot of personalized care. While I ordered more florals than I ended up needing, it was worth it to have the full, lush look I was going for on our special day.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Houston, DE

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had an amazingly positive experience working with Flower Moxie for my daughter’s July wedding. We placed our order in February using their “How Much Should I Buy” worksheet as a guide. Their website is filled with images and videos to help you make your choices. We went with the Sweet Wildflower bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaid bouquets and then ordered a Build Your Own Wildflower Mixed Box and Build Your Own Spray Rose Mixed Box to DIY bud vases all for just over 900! In June we decided we wanted more bud vases for our dining tables than we had originally planned to have. I spoke with Maria who helped me add more of what I’d order to meet my needs. Cost was about 150. Not knowing really what to expect, I added 4 premade centerpieces just to have which cost 280. This was SO much more cost effective than trying to work with local florists or deal with wooden flower options. The only issue we had was a UPS issue. The flowers were coming directly from a farm in Ecuador and tracking numbers showed they were held up in Miami waiting for government release. Once released, we were able to see their travels. The flower boxes ended up being delayed by 1 day. The flowers should have arrived on a Thursday for a Sunday wedding. Delivery moved to Friday. Every worried email I sent was responded to immediately by Flower Moxie. They were tracking my order, too, and were on top of it. Once they arrived, we followed the specific directions the company sends out. I have photos of the stages of hydration, watching the blooms get more and more gorgeous as the hours passed. The bridal party put the 72 bud vases together on Saturday in the hotel conference room near the wedding venue. The bridal bouquets were perfect needing nothing but trimming of the stems and wrapping stems with ribbon we had purchased. I would highly recommend working with Flower Moxie, especially if you are looking to support small business, enjoy having the option to be a little hands on (though you don’t have to choose this option), and want to save on the cost of your florals. I plan to use them in the future if the need arises.

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Houston, DE

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I’m so glad we went with the Faux Bouquets for our wedding florals. Everything was beautiful and nobody believed me when I said they weren’t live flowers. If you are worried about how they will look, DONT be!!! There is a great variety of flowers on their website and I am so happy with how everything turned out. If you are renting flowers, the return process is SO easy!

She was so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process and always incredibly responsive to emails, which made everything feel stress-free and organized. The florals completely exceeded our expectations and captured exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. One detail that was a cherry on top of our experience was when Elizabeth sent a preview of the bridal bouquet the day before the wedding. We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. She gave us a few suggestions of eateries to check out while we were in town. We had a symbolic ceremony a week later and I was so pleased with the service received with my first bouquet, that I asked Jackie to preserve that bouquet as well. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup. I'd highly recommend her services to preserve a piece of your special day.

Collette Blooms is named after our beautiful standard poodle who is at my feet at just about every step of the process. We feel privileged to be included in your special event!

We had an amazing experience! Her communication was great, she checked in several times to make sure we were still happy with what we ordered. You could tell the whole process she wants it to be perfect. My flowers ended up being exactly what I wanted and more & add so much to a wedding day! So happy with them, and affordable !!

Working with Olivia at Hazelnut Flowers is a guarantee of excellence. Her floral designs are stunning and intentional, but what really sets her apart is how effortlessly she runs an event day—calm, efficient, and perfectly paced from start to finish. I’ve partnered with her many times and would choose her again every single time.
