“If you don't get married here, you're missing out! The ENTIRE experience was way better than I ever could have imagined! Think wedding planning is stressful? Not here. From the planning stages all the way to the wedding day/night was such a stress-free time. I was truly able to enjoy every moment of my wedding because of how easy Maggie and Vince made it. Their communication and easy-going personalities made the whole process so much fun! The venue is BEAUTIFUL. It's perfectly laid out for a one stop shop. I had my ceremony, pictures, dinner and reception all on site. There are SO MANY good spots to take pictures, the bar area is ridiculously perfect and charming, and the barn is so rustic and beautiful. I have too many good things to say about my experience. I loved it so much that I can't wait to start planning my vow renewal ceremony so I can do it all over again and without a doubt have it at Magnolia's at Hobart!”

“This is the venue of dreams!! For our wedding we stayed on site from Thursday-Sunday. You get the entire venue to yourself! It gave me so much peace at mind to be able to setup at my own pace. Brian and Daryl are beyond amazing! They will do everything in their power to make your day perfect from going shopping for you, to leading your rehearsal, to management guests and family. We are a romantic and classic wedding venue located in Shepherd, Michigan, just minutes from Central Michigan University. Our reception space can accommodate up to 375 guests and features a beautiful floor-to-ceiling fireplace, fairy lights, floral chandeliers, a custom bar, farmhouse tables, banquet tables, and black Chiavari chairs with leather cushions. We also offer a prep kitchen, two parking lots, and a beautifully landscaped backyard area with a privacy fence, two patios, and a pergola. One of our favorite features is that we have two private getting-ready spaces: The Ivory Suite and The Sable Room. Each suite includes a lounge, private bathroom, and changing room, giving both sides of the wedding party their own comfortable space to relax and get ready. We are also currently adding an indoor ceremony space, which will allow couples to host both their ceremony and reception at The Wright Place. This space is expected to be complete by the end of summer, August 2026.
