Great wedding day ready, on site!
The Blue Ribbon Barn bridal lounge features three large mirrors with vanity counter, and cushioned chairs for comfort while getting hair and makeup done on site. A vintage settee offers an adorable photo op area, as well as comfortable seating while enjoying the morning of your event! Along with the vanity mirrors, a forth extra large mirror is hung for those final bridal touches and photo opportunities. A side door allows for easy access into the bridal lounge, as well as natural light!

The Blue Ribbon Barn dining room features provided tables, chairs and table linen for weddings and other events, with seating for up to 150. Large glass overhead doors lead to the patio/courtyard with a white top tent that can seat an additional 50. The dining room is warm and inviting with finished pine walls and rough sawn timber.

Blue Ribbon Garden
The perfect blend of intimate back yard vibes, space to mingle and gorgeous gardens.
Our garden courtyard features a colored cement patio, all one level from inside the dining room, out to the ceremony area. The courtyard is surrounded by beautiful, full, colorful garden beds that offer a variety of flowers and trees. Beyond our gardens, is a framing white 3 rail fence with an open field beyond, giving a feel of endless space and open air. This sets the backdrop for your wedding ceremony, surrounded by nature, family and friends.

Our large wooden top bar is the perfect place for guests to gather!
The cocktail area features a large wooden top bar, big enough for two bartenders to keep the drinks flowing. There is lots of space behind the bar for your bartenders to use kegs, and storage for bottles and cans. Behind the bar is also a cater prep kitchen, equipped with large commercial fridge, chest freeze, oven and stove for reheating and lots of counter space. Four high top cocktail tables are placed with table linen for guests to mingle at, as well as ample areas for decor placement.

One thing that's remembered at every wedding - the food experience!
Our front room has been thoughtfully crafted for guest flow and ease on caterers while serving buffet style dinners. This room features two 8' tables joined for a 16' buffet, table linen as well as extra 6' tables for desserts, charcuterie grazing tables and more. There is a rustic wooden and stone wall as well for photo backdrops, cake tables, etc.

Highly Recommend Blue Ribbon Barn
Blue Ribbon Barn is a wonderful venue that I would highly recommend! Amanda is amazing- she was so so helpful and supportive through planning and our wedding day. She truly helped the day run smoothly and took away any stress/worry about making sure everything is in line. Communication was great leading up to the wedding, and Amanda was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations through the whole process. The venue is beautiful with a beautiful yard/landscaping and it has a great set up to accommodate your event. They have a nice “something borrowed” closet with lots of options which is helpful when it comes to decorating the space!
Breathtaking space!
This event space is breathtaking and gives you such a since of home. Its a beautiful place to celebrate with family and to celebrate love. The calm peaceful area which the barn is located is perfect for a stress free day! The owner is helpful and knowledgeable!
The Best wedding venue in Northern Michigan
The Blue Ribbon Barn is by far the BEST wedding venue in Northern Michigan! Amanda and her staff at the barn are responsive, thoughtful, kind, and amazing to work with. Amanda was there to answer any questions my new husband and I had, whether it was to do with the venue, how the day should play out, planning, and went above and beyond with helping and planning! The venue itself is incredible; the areas set up around for pictures are literal perfection! We will definitely be utilizing the barn in the future for any events we will host! 10000/10 recommend this lovely venue.
