I'm a born-and-raised Missourian (where did you go to high school?) and a mom to our four-year-old little boy, a baby girl, and one boxer/pit mix named Grizzly. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, but we've known each other since Kindergarten! Before I started working with flowers I went to the Conservatory of Music in Kansas City to study voice. After having our son, I found that I needed a creative outlet and started working with flowers during his nap time and in the evenings. I soon discovered that I loved all of the textures, colors, and the way flowers could bring a smile to someone's face, and Serendipity Floral Design was born!

You may be wondering by now about the unusual spelling of the company name. It is not a typo – in fact, my grandpa used to call me “the rose among thorns.” When I opened my first email account, I wanted to honor that, but the correct spelling was taken.
