The Cooper Estate is a popular landmark in our South Florida community. This estate today tells the story of what “Old Florida” was all about 100 years ago. The oolite limestone barn and home are meticulously maintained and have been lovingly preserved in every aspect. The property is still today a working native plant nursery. Massive live oak canopies, waterfalls, fish ponds, a sunken grotto, all naturally shaded and lined with rare palms, along with acres of manicured gardens are just some of the unique features “The Cooper Estate” has to offer.

We had our wedding at The Cooper Estate, and it truly exceeded every dream we had. The ceremony space felt like a tropical destination wedding—so much so that people who saw photos thought we were in Hawaii. Walking through the lush garden with the stone archway and waterfall was absolutely magical and set the tone for the entire day. Our reception space was just as incredible—warm, intimate, and beautifully designed with elegant wood details, chandeliers, and stunning tablescapes. Every detail felt intentional and elevated. We had about 90 guests, and everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish. We were definitely nervous going in, but meeting with our day-of coordinator, Idalia, the day before made a huge difference. She was calm, organized, and completely on top of everything, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the day. The staff, bartenders, and chef were outstanding. One of the biggest highlights was the Brazilian-style rodízio—it was incredible, and our guests are still talking about it. The Cooper Estate also connected us with amazing vendors. Our DJ, Hurricane Rey (SCJ Events), was perfect and kept the energy exactly where it needed to be all night. The cake and overall coordination were flawless. Photos by Elba Dipp were spectacular while also making us feel comfortable. The florals by Yira completely blew us away—far beyond anything we imagined. And a special touch we’ll never forget were the custom leis from Jill at Ainahua Florals, flown in fresh from Hawaii—they were truly over the top and so meaningful for us and our moms. The entire day and night felt romantic, exotic, and simply magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend The Cooper Estate without hesitation.
