From my initial conversation with Johanna about my vision for my look, I could tell this was the right salon for me and my girls. Her careful attention to detail and genuine care for me as a potential client impressed me. Throughout the process, Yoli, the bridal coordinator, responded to all of my questions promptly and cheerfully. Marielly and Janelle made me feel so comfortable and confident at my trial and were open and responsive to feedback and follow-up questions I had about my own look as well as questions my girls wanted to ask. On my wedding day, my bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready at the pink salon. The space is bright, airy, and full of cute spots for photos. Marielly and Janelle gave each of my girls the same VIP treatment they gave me at my trial and they kept us on time to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. My group ranged widely in terms of needs (we had hair that was curly, straight, thick, and thin and girls who ranged from wearing little to no makeup regularly to girls who regularly go full glam and wanted bright and colorful looks), and each girl ended up with a look that was perfect for them! Our hair and makeup lasted all night long! While the final product was impressive, what stands out the most to me about working with The Stately Rose was how they made me feel. Every question or concern I had was treated as important (no matter how small) in the lead-up to the day. In the salon, Marielly and Janelle created a positive, fun, relaxed, and empowering environment. They were the ultimate hype-women all morning and they really set the tone for the day moving forward. It was especially meaningful to me how much care our team took in accommodating health and safety concerns among my party; requests we made to keep those with compromised immune systems or allergies comfortable and safe were made without hesitation. We all left the salon to start the rest of the busy and stressful day feeling like our best selves. “From the first time I talked to Danny on the phone to inquire about using fine line artistry, I was absolutely sure he would do an excellent job on my wedding day. Danny is so kind, attentive to detail, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. My trial was so smooth and easy, and he nailed the exact look I wanted with very vague inspiration description from me, because I know absolutely nothing about make up. He managed to find the exact color lipstick I have been searching for forever, so not only a win for my wedding, but a win for my lipstick collection too! On the day of the wedding Danny and his assistant were incredible! They showed up early and took care of everyone extremely well. Everyone was so happy with how they looked, even my girls with very particular make up tastes. They worked extremely efficiently and were very well coordinated with our hair stylist. Danny handled the entire schedule including that for hair, even though I did not use one of the stylists from fine line artistry. He was super organized and on top of everything. I cannot recommend fine line artistry enough!! I keep joking I’ll never have my make up look that good again (unless of course I hire Danny!!!) - if you get the chance to work with fine line artistry, do not pass it up! I included pics from my trial, the girls after getting ready, right before the ceremony, and a late night photo booth pic of me and the MoH.”

I had received a quote promptly and the booking process was painless and easy(planning for a wedding is tough!). I first met Pam for my Bridal Trial (which we set up for the morning of my Bridal Shower). I received non-stop compliments about how flawless my makeup was. About a month before wedding day, Pam followed up with the wedding day timeline which made it easy to communicate to my girls. Wedding day! Pam arrived on time, had set up so quickly and was ready to go! All my bridesmaids were so shocked on their makeup. I had a range of different skin colors and textures of my girls and Pam was able to work with the different skin tones! They were absolutely breathtaking. Its rare to find someone who can provide services working with a wide range of skin tones. Now, my makeup was absolutely fabulous! The smokey eyes, wispy lashes, contoured cheeks and blush was gorgeous. I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror. I felt the most beautiful on my wedding day. “Being able to have Antonia do my make up was easy and so comfortable. I wasn't prepared with any of my own make up and being a Black Woman I was worried there wouldn't be the right colors. Antonia blended up some foundation and got an exact color match! I also HATE false lashes, BUT she put them on with such ease I couldn't even tell I was wearing them!
