“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! With just 3 weeks left, we only had two songs picked out, but Doug was firm yet funny in saying "How about you two use this time to knock out the songs?" He met with us a week later and went above and beyond to help us finalize our playlist. His app saved our brain and was so easy to select songs, move them into sections and add notes like parents names or details about entrances. On the day of, his talented and energetic team kept the dance floor packed and the vibes high all night long. The photobooth they provided was also an amazing addition that our guests raved about. His excitement about things like our flaming donut bar added to our excitement for the wedding and made us feel confident with every decision we made. “My husband and I booked Perfect Day DJs to perform at our wedding and it was better than we could have hoped for. When you first contract with DJ Chad, he provides an easy to use online portal that lets you select the perfect songs for those special moments throughout your wedding day, as well as an easy-to-use must play and do-not-play list. DJ Chad was also very supportive leading up to the big day offering to help in any way he could to help our day run smoothly. When our wedding day came DJ Chad played each of the songs on our must play list, perfectly mixing each one together through smooth transitions and keeping us on our feet! He was even able to encourage our non-dancing family members to make their way to out the dancefloor! Not only was he phenomenal and great to work with, but his wife, Mary of Chocolate Paper Studios is a fantastic photographer. They even have a package, "The Perfect Day with Chocolate on Top," where you can book your DJ and photographer together! This made planning our wedding so much easier for my husband and I, as two rather important parts of wedding were accounted for in one easy to digest package, which included a DJ and ceremony audio, an engagement photo session and 2 photographers on our wedding day! The planning portion was made even easier as when it was time to meet we were able to go over both the entertainment and photo options available. Payment was a breeze because we were able to pay both of them through one online portal. And most importantly when our wedding day came we had a team that not only works amazingly together, but truly understands the importance and significance of making the day perfect. If we could go back in time and plan our wedding again we would 100% book Chad and Mary and will always recommend their services in the future, they are a true dream team!”

“Athena and Jeff could not have been more wonderful. Upon booking we scheduled a meeting to discuss packages and extras we could add. I got access to the portal where I put my do not play, must play, etc. I built my wedding timeline in the app with ease. A few weeks before the wedding we talked all details and the vibe we wanted during cocktail hour and dinner! At the wedding they showed up around 3 for a cocktail hr around 6 to set up! It was a snow storm and in the chaos they remained calm. Jeff had the timeline in his hand and went through it with us to make sure we were good with the order. Everything throughout the night went so smoothly. My guests loved the music and were out in the dance floor all night! My package also came with uplighting which was a light pink and it truly added a magical feeling to the room.”

“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”
