Wild Blue Acres is a private 20-acre waterfront venue on the Albemarle Sound in eastern NC, designed for couples who want an intimate, meaningful celebration. With seating for up to 60 guests and a white pergola overlooking panoramic water views and stunning sunsets, it’s the perfect backdrop for a wedding you and your guests will never forget.

The Shores of Cedar Point is situated on a large farm and is located on the North River in Mathews county Virginia. The Bride and her bridal party use part of the 1930's brick home to get ready in. The Groom and his bridal party have a separate room and is located a short walk away near the barn. The remodeled rustic barn is just a few more steps away with a fixed dance floor and twinkle lighting. We provide white padded chairs and tables for 150. We have another covered site for inclement weather. Ample parking and majestic scenery for you and your guest to enjoy as they meander down past cows and goats to the wedding site. For Saturday weddings the Friday before is blocked off so the wedding party can come in a decorate and have their rehearsal at no extra charge. The pergola was designed to capture sunset between the pillars overlooking the river, to make those everlasting memories.

The venue offers beautiful indoor and outdoor settings, as well as two wedding party dressing suites. A warming kitchen is available to accommodate any approved caterers. Tables, chairs, benches, a dance floor, and arch are included in the venue rentals. We instruct your ceremony rehearsal, and on day of your wedding we run the full-service operation from set up to break down so that you can enjoy your special celebration with family and friends. We have a preferred vendor list of amazing photographers, florists, hair & makeup artists and more that we love to work with, however you are not limited to that list and can recruit your own licensed vendors of choice. Many of our Brides and Grooms choose to spend the whole day on property, getting ready in our bridal party lounges.
