“This review is LONG overdue, but the Michigan Theater was hands-down the best venue we could’ve asked for in a ceremony venue for our June 2025 wedding. My (now) husband and I weren’t looking for anything over the top (in terms of coordinating vendors!!) and the historic beauty of the main theater was all we needed for a backdrop. It’s gorgeous and our photos turned out exactly as we intended (below are only a small handful). Clark, the rentals manager, was responsive, available, and helpful during our planning process, and their tech team handled all the rest (can't say I thought about lighting much when we booked the theater initially, but that consulting process was seamless when we came by the week before our ceremony, and they were flexible when our officiant asked for some changes the day-of). The day-of, Clark was on top of communicating to their team over the radios and even with some guests of honor running a bit behind schedule, everything went off without a hitch. So many of our guests said they loved the creative approach for a wedding ceremony--it is a performance when it comes down to it!!--and we were so grateful to use this space before quite literally walking over to one of our favorite Ann Arbor restaurants for our dinner reception. Support local and don't hesitate to book your wedding here! We have no regrets and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at the MSU Horticulture Gardens! We had our ceremony in the North Gardens outside, the cocktail hour in a covered tent right outside of the greenhouse, and the dinner and reception inside of the greenhouse. We had 118 guests and were able to do dinner and dancing inside of the greenhouse comfortably. Everything was set up promptly and was ready to go the day before. Working with the team was very collaborative and they provided lots of options while we were deciding what we wanted our layout to be. Amy was great to work with. They had lots of rental options such as chairs, tables, linens, bar, and backdrop curtain to elevate the space. There was a large walk-in cooler that we were given access to where we were able to keep our desserts and then store flowers/leftovers in over night after the wedding. During our tour we were a bit worried that the greenhouse would be very hot and that the fans would be loud, but they're able to cover the roof and we were able to rent standing fans that kept the venue cool without excessive noise and it totally fine. Everything came together beautifully on the day of and we are so happy with the day overall! We received so many compliments from guests and we would definitely recommend the North Gardens as a wedding venue.”

“There truly are not enough words to describe how incredible The Treasury in Pontiac is. From the moment we walked in, it was hands down the most beautiful venue we had ever seen — elegant, timeless, and absolutely breathtaking in every way. The staff went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Every single person was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about every detail of our day. Our guests are still talking about the food — countless people told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had, which says so much. Natalie deserves special recognition. She cared about every single detail, no matter how small, and made us feel completely supported throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, when unexpected things happened — my dress strap broke and my mom had a last-minute dietary restriction — Natalie personally stepped in and fixed everything seamlessly. I never once felt stressed because she truly made it happen. Because of The Treasury and their amazing team, our wedding day was nothing short of magical. It was truly the best day of our lives, and we are endlessly grateful for the care, professionalism, and heart they poured into making it perfect. I cannot recommend this venue enough — it is simply unmatched.”

“A great blank canvas venue! The staff is very accommodating and allow you to bring in vendors of your choosing. They were very helpful and always available for a phone call/meeting to go over logistics. It’s also a huge space that was great for my 200 person ceremony and reception. Definitely would recommend at least getting a day of coordinator because the venue does not come with anything other than tables and chairs, so setup is a big task. I absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and we got so many compliments about how unique the venue was from our guests!”
