One of my favorite parts of working with flowers is appreciating their full life cycle, from seed to bud to bloom to death. Flowers aren’t just for big events and celebrations- they are for healing, encouragement, quiet moments of looking, and moments of play. They speak loudly in a space for something so small. Hi there, I'm so happy you're here! First off, I'm Kj, which stands for Kayla Jo. I'm just a small town, farm girl that loves spreading joy through flowers. I'm a lover of all things agriculture, Purdue, German Shepard's, ice cream and, most importantly, my family.

Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

We are a small, woman owned business located in the rural area of Columbus, IN. I operate a small shop out of our converted "garage". We added some french doors, house plants, work benches, and a lot of love! We offer DIY bridal events, workshops for girls night out, children, or just a good group of friends! No one leaves here until their flowers make them happy.

Michelle started her career as a lawyer, but could not resist the pull of her family’s legacy—flowers! A third-generation florist, some of her earliest childhood memories include processing flowers at her grandmother’s shop in northern Indiana. She grew her love of flowers working along side her mom in creating amazing wedding florals for couples all over Indiana. Ask her and she will tell you that she was trained by the best! She brings her passion and years of experience in this art to the Owner/Creative Director role for One of a Kind Events.

She was named one of the top wedding planners in Chicago by Wedding Rule. A draping expert and amazing floral & event designer, Katina is emerging as a top designer in the event industry.
