“For everyone who thinks they don’t need a wedding planner. You do. You do and you specifically need Stephanie. If everyone had a Stephanie, there would be no wedding disasters, no war, and no famine. Stephanie is the best. She helped us look through contracts with vendors, talked us through conversations with catering (which is how we met her), and ran our wedding day seamlessly. Stephanie really knows this business. She helped us manage our budget, she set expectations and timelines, and was super responsive with emails and questions. She also was respectful and inclusive to us with all our identities, as a gay couple and a Jewish/Italian couple. The wedding industry often assumes a lot of things but Stephanie is so kind and goes out of her way to make sure she never does. Beyond that, I think it’s important to highlight what a wedding planner does the day of. She makes sure all the tables are set up so you don’t have to. She makes sure your vendors arrive on time. She made sure our photos and our flowers were set up. I cannot emphasize enough how much you will not want to be doing your own table arrangements when you’re trying to pull off the biggest party you’ve ever thrown. She also came a few days early and picked up ALL of the items for the wedding in her mini-van. Then she packed them up at the end of the night and delivered them a few days after the wedding?? That ALONE is the best. I assumed my wife, our families, and I would be packing things up that night but she gave us a magical day where we didn’t have to worry about anything. She’s also incredibly smart and thorough and NEVER complains. We had books as our centerpieces and realized later that the idea of books was going to be HEAVY. She never told us we were nuts but she actually said she liked it because we did things that were true to us. She has more energy than anyone I’ve ever met and her and her day-of assistant, Caitlin, were the best. Seriously, Stephanie is, as my wife says, a magical human being. Don’t plan a wedding without her.”

“Richard was helpful and respectful throughout our entire wedding planning process. He worked flawlessly with me, my partner, and our wedding planner to pull off an incredibly fun reception. Richard did an initial call with my partner to discuss the general vibe we were looking for, and we knew immediately he would be a great fit for our wedding. Richard gave us a helpful questionnaire to fill out key songs and general musical interests (and do not play songs). Richard was also happy to jump on calls with us to talk through our questions and hopes for our big day. I especially appreciated that Richard was able to play some German songs for some guests who had flown in from Germany, as that got even some of our older relatives on the dance floor. He was AWESOME at introductions and did a great job of trying to stick with our schedule and being flexible. We also got the photobooth service from him and the pictures turned out amazing!! He sent us a link with all the pictures from the night, which we enjoyed looking at. He even sent a few videos! We also got the glow sticks and the crowd loved them!”

From the very beginning, her communication was proactive, responsive, persistent, and thorough. Our day-of coordinator, Veneisha, created a detailed timeline over a month in advance and seamlessly coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. On the day of, Veneisha put out our dance floor props, cut our extra wedding cake, brought in our late night food and cleaned up the venue to make sure we weren't charged any extra fees. She even packed away all of our supplies for easy pick up following the wedding night. Veneisha and the entire Bellazevents team were truly the best part of our wedding planning experience. “I reached out to so many planners/coordinators for my wedding and so many were either slow to respond or did not respond at all. Chelsea was prompt and excited to help, despite my wedding being quite the undertaking. I did my own (faux) flowers, which meant on top of regular day-of duties, she was putting up full floral arrangements, lighting hundreds of candles, and putting together tons of other small details and finishing touches. I can't emphasize this enough - our day would not have come together in the way that it did without her. She was on top of everything and truly made my vision come to life.
