LEMON & TULIPS
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $65 per arrangement
  • Serves Grand Isle, ME

Here is a very short story how I got into the floral industry. In 2015 I got in an accident where I cracked my skull and had to have brain surgery/tbi. I was not able to work for months, my vision was sensitive, my taste was gone, my balance was off whack, I had temporary aphasia and thinking would exhaust me physically. With all this, I had to go to neuro rehab and 'retrain my brain'. Color therapy; sight exercises. Smells; memory builder. Art; improves brain function. I then asked myself, 'what the hell career has all of this to help me?' Duh. Flowers. I got lucky because I fell in love with it

“Working with Lemon & Tulips was such a great experience from start to finish. Ali was incredibly responsive whenever we reached out with questions or concerns, which made the whole planning process feel smooth and stress-free. When our ceremony had to move inside due to rain, Ali jumped in to help us figure out the best solution and adjusted everything perfectly. The flowers she created were absolutely stunning, vibrant and eye catching in a way that had our guests talking about them all night. She really listened to what we wanted and brought our vision to life in a way we didn't even know was possible. We couldn't have asked for a better florist for our wedding day!”

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (44 reviews)
  • Serves Grand Isle, ME

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
“I had the absolute best experience with The Faux Bouquets. The flowers were absolutely stunning for my wedding. The owner, Brittany, was so kind and even called me to make sure my wedding wouldn't be affected by Hurricane Helene. Thankfully, my area was not affected, but I just really felt that was a special kindness that needs to be called out. But again, the quality of the bouquets, micro sprays and greenery was so great and photographed so well! And all at a fraction of the cost of real flowers that would have just been thrown away at the end of the night! The delivery and return process couldn't have been simpler! And I loved my husband and I got to customize and keep my bouquet and his boutonniere during a promotional add-on! Thank you again, Brittany and The Faux Bouquets, for helping make our wedding so beautiful!”

The Flower Spot
Rating: 5.0 (33 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $1,050
  • Serves Grand Isle, ME

The Flower Spot is a small floral studio in Richmond, Maine, owned and designed by Anne Clark. We work from the ground floor of a circa-1854 house on the Kennebec River — the same house that hosts intimate weddings out back. Anne designs every wedding herself. No account manager, no template package menu, no upsell script. You tell her what you love — a color, a photo, your grandmother's garden — and she builds outward from there. Bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony arches, aisle florals, centerpieces, cake flowers, and installations. Whether it's one bouquet or every table in the room, the care is exactly the same.

“I Loved all of the floral arrangements. Just what I wanted. They did outstanding with communications, details, everything. I loved everything. Thank you for everything!! Highly recommend! Got many reviews/comments from the guests”

The Flower Dude

  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Grand Isle, ME

I'm Don Clark. I run The Flower Dude, a studio wedding florist in Portland, Maine. Studio means no retail shop, and that's the point. Instead of a cooler full of roses that flew up from Miami last week, I work from three gardens in Cape Elizabeth and Kennebunk — so from June through late September, your flowers are cut the morning you get married. I arrange everything myself, then deliver and set it up: bouquets, boutonnieres, arches, reception tables, all of it. Personal and personalized.

“From our first conversation, we knew The Flower Dude was the right choice for our wedding. Donald was responsive to our ideas and genuinely invested in understanding what we wanted—he didn't just listen, he collaborated with us every step of the way. Flowers were a top priority for us, and he created the floral arrangement of our dreams with stunning displays throughout the ceremony, reception tables, and every corner in between. His attention to detail and high-quality work exceeded all of our expectations. Donald captured our vision perfectly and delivered above and beyond what we envisioned for our special day. We can't thank him enough for making our flowers so beautiful.”

We got married in MA and we wanted big bold tropical colors, fruits, etc as I'm from southeast Asia and she and her team delivered!! We got so many compliments on the florals and design and she is just so incredibly talented. I was so happy to put all my trust into her! When we had our first look at the table florals we were absolutely in shock - it was so so beautiful. Naomi was incredibly professional, great communicator, and so so kind. Milkweed Floral Co.
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Serves Grand Isle, ME

Hi! I’m Iris, the mind, body, and soul behind Milkweed! As a lot of dad’s like to joke, my name must be a birthright into floristry. In all honesty, it really has been a constant thread throughout my life. From picking flowers in my mom’s garden, to working in a flower shop in Boston right after college, then tackling florals for my own wedding in 2021, and eventually freelancing for event florists around Maine - I fell head over heels for wedding florals!

Awarded Best of Zola
“Iris at Milkweed Design Co exceeded every expectation I had for my wedding in 2023! I love flowers and wanted a lot all over the venue, but I didn't specify know which ones I wanted. Iris created the perfect design that I was imagining but couldn't put into words myself. She suggested and constructed an elaborate show stopping floral installation on a tree welcoming guests to the venue and offering an unique backdrop for photos! The colors, textures, and attention to detail were perfection! Each arrangement completely transformed the space into something magical. It was clear how much care, creativity, and passion went into every aspect of Iris' work. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the flowers at the time, and to this day, it's the one thing everyone still brings up! If you’re looking for someone incredibly talented, hard-working, and thoughtful—someone who truly cares about her craft and the clients who trust her with one of the most important days of their lives—look no further!”

“We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!”

Silver Street Flower Farm
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Grand Isle, ME

Hi, I’m Sally! I am the florist/farmer/owner of Silver Street Flower Farm, a design studio and one-acre cut flower farm. ’m a NH native, a Colby College Alumna, and a twin mom. I feel grateful I get to do something every day that builds my relationship with the natural world. Our designs are seasonal and feature our own flowers or blooms from other local growers. The flowers for your special day are sustainably grown, inspired by nature, and curated just for you.

“Sally at Silver Street Flower Farm blew me away with the gorgeous boutiques, corsages, and boutonnières she created for our winter wedding. They were lush, textured, and gorgeous. Easily one of the best accessories to complete the most elegant I’ve ever felt. Sally’s passion and love for florals, artistry, and attention to detail truly shines through in her floral work. I had full faith and trust in her. I didn’t have a strong vision or direction to provide her but she asked great questions, interpreted my thoughts, described her vision, and dang did she execute. Sal is incredibly thoughtful, genuinely cares about making your wedding day special, and seriously brings the floral magic. Oh last but not least, Sally is a genius (in so many ways)… but in particular she uses a magnetic clip for the boutonnières for extremely easy, quick, simple attachment. The guys raved about this.”

The Ivy League Wedding Studio Florals
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,800
  • Serves Grand Isle, ME
  • Offer

I bring both professional and academic training to every arrangement. I studied fine arts at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League university, and I apply that same eye for color, composition, and detail to every bouquet, centerpiece, and installation. Your florals aren't just decorations to me. They're a work of art, built specifically for your day. Wedding florals shouldn't force you to choose between beautiful and affordable. I've watched too many couples fall in love with a Pinterest board, then feel deflated by the quote that comes with it. That's not how I work.

“The Ivy League Wedding Studio Florals blew us away. From the moment I received my bridal bouquet, beautifully in bloom and including the exact type of flowers I'd asked for, to the florist personally pinning each boutonniere on every groomsman so it stayed perfectly set all day, every detail was taken care of. We got more compliments on our flowers than anything else at the wedding, and the price was more than fair for that level of quality and care. I extremely recommend this florist. The flower arrangements were sooo pretty!!”

I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. Their floral arrangements can be described as wild, yet put together giving a very unique aesthetic that you can't find from Etsy. The best thing that brides say about their products is that their lightweight and already preserved for life. We cannot recommend them enough to add something special to your wedding day!”

The quality of their work was unbelievable - the bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral arrangements were absolutely gorgeous, with vibrant, beautiful colors that perfectly complemented our wedding theme. And the value was fantastic, as their prices were very reasonable. The team was also incredibly helpful, assisting us with set-up the night before the wedding as well as the morning of. We couldn't have asked for a better florist to bring our vision to life, and we highly recommend The Creative Nature Florist to any couple planning their wedding.”
