She was so kind, personable, professional, and easy to be around, and she truly made me feel beautiful. My makeup felt natural, beautiful, and comfortable, while still photographing perfectly. The pictures are absolutely stunning, and everyone who sees them comments on how amazing my hair and makeup looked. I also wanted a braid and bun updo, and in the past I had been told that I did not have the right hair for that kind of style. But holy cow, Ali and her team completely exceeded my expectations. They listened to what I wanted and brought it to life so beautifully. Between our morning ceremony and afternoon photos, I ended up taking my makeup completely off and taking most of my hair out too, but you would never know it from the photos after Ali’s touch-up. She made everything look flawless again. The entire experience was so special, smooth, and memorable. I truly do not know if I will ever trust anyone else to do my hair and makeup again, because this kind of experience cannot be duplicated. “Kyrtisha of Virtous Slay was so sweet and was great with doing what you wanted and blended with her artistic talent. Everyone looked amazing! My one and only complaint was my hair started falling once the dancing started but I was getting down pretty hard, in her defense. So I’d say ask for double the bobbie pins if doing an updo (mine was with extensions). Boy can she make your eyes pop! LOVED my eye makeup the most.”
