Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!

Timbers on Etowah is an absolutely beautiful and historic wedding venue located in Canton, Georgia. We are in the highly sought-after development of The Mill on Etowah. Built from the granite of Stone Mountain, 550 Trackside was established as a Cotton Warehouse in 1904. Over the years, it has been known as The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Co., the Grinder and the Goldkist Building. Prior to opening in 2008, we renovated, restored, and designed the venue to be a space where people can gather, connect, celebrate, and create memories. The high ceilings of 100-year-old rough-hewn wood, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail, captures and maintains its turn of the century authenticity and charm.

For years, the space was used to host congregations until 2003 when it was converted into an event hall. In 2020, the building was purchased and renovated to upgrade with latest amenities to add to its one of a kind character, while keeping original part of the building structure. Housed in a late Victorian building that was once a home, a church, a dance studio, and an architectural salvage store, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub has worked to become a cornerstone of the neighborhood. 1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

Great outdoor space in a magical wooded glen of trees and lights - adjacent is a 40X60 covered wedding pavilion with a fire pit - all set in a secluded, wooded area with large open fields, as well. Couples may have their ceremony in a wide open field surrounded with trees - totally private - or in the Glen, a magical forest of trees with a stone path.

Mandarin Community Club is one of the most historic buildings in Jacksonville built in 1872 under the direction of famed author Harriet Beecher Stowe. It is widely recognized now as the oldest civic organization in Mandarin and dedicated to preservation and beautification and educational efforts in the community.
