“Dakota and Meghan were amazing to work with! They made taking photos a breeze by being upbeat and fun. They brought some great ideas for poses and locations near our venue that they've used with other clients and listened to some ideas that we wanted to incorporate. Sunflower has a great questionnaire that they provide before the wedding to capture all the details about our day, including a shot list and who we wanted for family pictures. This made the family portraits a quick process on the day of our wedding since they knew who we needed to grab to take photos. My special needs son hates having photos taken, being the center of attention, and loud noises. They worked with him to get him to smile and to move through the photos we wanted to include him for as quickly as possible to capture the special moments while making him comfortable. “If you're looking at these reviews, I am assuming you are interested in booking Kayla as your wedding photgrapher, and all I have to say is DO IT. Kayla is amazing. She photographed both mine and my brothers weddings. Here are a few things I loved most about having Kayla as my photographer (from a bride)! 1) stress free. Kayla asks for your input and list of wanted photos weeks leading up to the wedding. She then creates a list for day of and takes care of the rest. I did not have to do a single thing managing what photos I wanted the day of my wedding. It allowed me to really enjoy the moment and be present (which is exactly what I wanted). 2) natural candid photos. Kayla does an amazing job of getting your natural smile in photos. I loved my photos. 3) SO many good photos. Kayla provided us with SO many photos to choose from. This allowed me to print off a variety so I didnt have the same few photos all over my house. 4) Comfort. Kayla did an amazing job making me and my husband feel comfortable day of and in the photos. 5) made my vision come true! With both venues we booked, I had a vision of wanting to use the entire venue to allow for different photos opportunities. One of the ideas I had were 'getting ready' photos with my husband in the kitchen. Kayla made my vision more than come true. These are some of my favorite photos she took, and allowed my husband and I to spend time together before walking down the aisle. I am a very picky person, but I would do everything all over again the same exact way for my wedding, including having Kayla as the photographer. I could not recommend Kayla enough!”

Logan, our lead photographer, made our day so special and adapted photos, as I have a broken leg, to make it as normal as possible. Jake, our videographer, was on point with everything! Ashlyn (day of coordinator) was incredible at making our day go smoothly and helped with whatever needed! You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

“Abby wasn’t able to travel to my wedding but she sent her assistants and she edited the photos. It went absolutely perfect. The photos were beautiful and I got so many meaningful photos with my family and his family that I wouldn’t have thought to get.
