There were several things that fell through the cracks on our end in terms of planning, and Nikki and her crew rolled with it on the day in such a way that we seriously could not have planned it better. The bar service was a huge hit, and many people complimented us on the food. Nikki and the rest of the staff went far beyond our expectations in terms of service and communication; the staff were cheerful and accommodating, and each interaction we had was yet another part of one of the best days our lives. “We had a private wedding ceremony and got referred to Avenue29 as a caterer who would understand the specific details of what we wanted to make our food as magical as the rest of our day. When meeting with Nicholas we were thoroughly impressed by his calm and confident presence, his detailed questions and the vision he helped us co-create. We didn’t want a traditional buffet so he came up with a beautiful 4-corner display so each section could have their own semi-private food display. His attention to detail, professionalism and personality were nothing like we had experienced before. We had a beautiful tasting, he went over every line item with us thoroughly, and made sure it was the right package for our wedding. And the delivery on our wedding day was exactly what we’d imagined and more. Amazing food, service, presentation, and professionalism. We could not recommend Avenue29 enough! From the first conversation all the way through the end of the event, everything was handled with so much professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Planning an event can be stressful, especially when you’re trying to make sure the food, setup, timing, and overall experience come together the way you imagined. The team at Maison D made the entire process feel so much easier. They listened to what we wanted, communicated with us throughout the process, and were very accommodating when it came to the little details that mattered to us. The food was honestly one of the highlights of the event. Everything tasted fresh, was seasoned really well, and the presentation was beautiful. Our guests kept talking about how good the food was, and several people even asked who catered the event. The portions were great, everything came out looking professional, and you could tell that they actually take pride in what they serve. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. The staff was friendly, respectful, attentive, and professional without making things feel stiff or overly formal. They made sure our guests were taken care of and handled things behind the scenes without us having to constantly check in or worry about what was happening next. That allowed us to actually enjoy the event instead of spending the entire time trying to manage everything.
