I would describe myself as a minimalist on the outside, Liberace on the inside. Obsessed with: dogs, dog-like cats, oysters, urban planning, and really excellent stand-up comedy. I'm originally from the majestic state of New Jersey, and live in the Ditmars section of Astoria, Queens. When I'm not photographing weddings, you can bet I'm either reading or writing fiction (currently working on a project set in Pennsylvania coal country, where my grandfather grew up), watching or rewatching great television

Husband + Wife duo! NY transplants. We have a 7 year old son Finn, and a 3 year old daughter Goldie, as well as a goofy golden doodle Bernie and an extremely sassy cat named Scout! You can typically find us at home drinking way too many lattes, or taking advantage of everything NYC has to offer!

We’re Julian & Evgenia. Born in the different parts of the former Soviet Union, Julian (who also lived in Israel since he was 13) and Evgenia met at an outdoors photoshoot on one of the coldest January days. Between the two of them, they spoke 3 different languages and were always drawn to timeless candid photography.

Photography has been Bo’s passion for many years. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree and began working for a local photography studio. Later she joined a more elite photography company where she worked for over six years honing her knowledge and skills as a professional photographer. Bo took her experience and established Bashful Captures. Her work has been featured by several leaders in the wedding industry.

Twah is pronounced as it’s spelled or like “3” in French. My boutique photography business is rooted in NYC but always ready to travel the world. As a former NYC Fashion Designer, I take my knowledge of style & weave it into my photography approach. I believe: 1. Your wedding day should not be spent in long posed formal photo sessions. 2. Personal details are an integral part of your day’s story. 3. Wedding images should be timeless yet stylishly current and natural. 3.
