Fat Apple Farm is a family-owned wedding venue located in dodge county between Columbus and Beaver Dam. We offer wedding weekends, allowing you to slow down. Bar tender and day of coordinator have included will all packages. The venue has tables and chairs for up to 300 guests. We would love to have you come out and see what we have to offer. “We had our wedding at Fat Apple Farm and were so pleased with everything! The family that runs it was incredibly responsive and caring during the planning process, making things much lower stress and giving us peace of mind that the event would go smoothly. On the big day, they had many friendly workers on hand to help set up, coordinate vendors, and make sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. The beautiful farm setting provided a perfect rustic backdrop for our pictures and the event space was large enough to accommodate all our guests comfortably. We felt the venue was an excellent value for the quality of service and lovely atmosphere they provided. Barnwood Events is 10 minutes from Downtown Madison next to the Capital City Bike Trail in a park-like country setting. This brand new barn timber frame building is built with modern amenities for year round events. The venue includes free parking for up to 170 cars and an onsite renovated farmhouse that sleeps up to 14 guests. The barn seats up to 300 inside and has 8 acres of green space and large mature trees that include several options for outdoor or indoor ceremonies and receptions.

“Barnwood was a wonderful venue for our wedding! We chose Barnwood because it was close to downtown but still offered a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, and that’s what we got! Julie was great to work with throughout the process. It was nice to have the flexibility of ceremony location, especially with the weather changing last minute on our wedding day. The farmhouse provided easy lodging for our family. Julie and Kayla executed our vision perfectly with the set-up of our decor and coordinating the day. It was nice that we could add on a champagne toast and dinner wine service to the standard bar packages, and our guests loved the bartenders. We also appreciated that Barnwood was flexible with our preferences (for other vendors, timing, use of space, etc.) while still being engaged to help make sure it all worked. I highly recommend hosting your wedding here!”

“Vennebu was the first and only venue my husband and I toured. We both highly recommend Vennebu. The staff was amazing and help make your day perfect. Mark & Bethanie are truly so amazing, they go above and beyond not only the day of the wedding but also leading up to it. We got so many compliments on how gorgeous our wedding was. Vennebu is gorgeous on the inside and outside. Their food is also amazing!!! It was very convenient to stay at the farmhouse on the property as well. Highly recommend staying there! Overall 100/10!!”

We welcome you to Pheasant Valley Barn! The barn is nestled in a scenic valley in the middle of our farm. The Byrne family started dairy farming in Wisconsin after emigrating from Ireland in the 1870's. In 2003, we decided to renovate our 1890's barn. We added a new metal roof and restored the interior of the barn. To celebrate, we had a barn dance for Duane's parents' 40th anniversary. Thus began "The Party Barn". In the fall of 2018, our son Cory married his fiance, Jenny. It confirmed our idea of starting a barn venue and sharing our barn and farm with others. We have been asked many times, "Why don't you rent out this barn?" We have decided the time is right to diversify our farm and start this event business. We are so happy that we restored our barn. As more and more barns and farms are lost, our barn is preserved and now can be shared with others to create a memorable and special day for your event!
