They helped run the whole day, they got the guests seated, kept everything on schedule, and ensured that Ben and I didn't have to worry about anything. When our flowergirl got stage-fright right before walking down the aisle, Jerry swooped in to save the day and helped her find her mom. We initially didn't plan to do a grand entrance into the reception, but Jerry and the DJ (Megan from Music that Moves) made one happen last-minute so our flower girl could have a second shot ar throwing her petals. “I would like to highly recommend the Abbington Distinctive Banquets. We held both our ceremony and reception at this venue and was very pleased! We selected this venue based on its elegance (I absolutely loved the north ball room which features oversized windows allowing beautiful natural lighting, oversized chandeliers, and neutral color tones blending that blended well with our color palette. We also loved the fact that they have an option to host the ceremony in a separate room from the reception which was an absolute must for me, I am very particular and a little hard to deal with at times due to my over attention to detail and wanting every single detail preplanned and perfectly executed. Tara my venue coordinator was very accommodating to my "type A" personality :) She was very patient with me no matter how many times I contacted her, or regardless of how many times I stopped by the venue to run through things or do mock set ups, and was always just a email/ phone call away throughout the entire planning process. Leading up to the wedding one thing that I had not thought about prior to booking this venue is that we wanted a traditional soul food cuisine and the venue does not offer outside catering. Tara went above and beyond to meet my needs by helping us put together a custom menu using items from their various banquet menus. She also allowed us to request extra seasonings and provide details on how to turn their traditional menu Mac and cheese to "southern style baked Mac and cheese to give the food the southern flare we desired. The chef did an amazing job of executing it and the food was delicious and an absolute hit! My family (including the great aunties and grandparents) whom are tuff food critics were very pleased! We had absolutely NO complaints with anything related to the venue on our big day and would like to thank the staff at the Abbington Distinctive Banquets for being top tier! Everything was perfect!!!”

“From start to finish, Company 251 was an amazing choice for our special wedding day. From the very first tour of the venue, we had a very enjoyable experience and felt very confident choosing them. The communication with staff, specifically Rachel, once we booked was fantastic! Every little question was answered and there was constant communication from day one. Food was delicious, catering staff was fantastic, bartenders were friendly. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue, the food, the desserts, the decor. We were also very impressed with how flawlessly the day went, transitioning from ceremony, cocktail hour, to reception, everything went off without a single stressor. Even at the end of the evening, our day of coordinator Ashley, gathered and packed up all our decor and made sure we didn’t forget anything! “One of my favorite wedding venues in the area!!!!!!! As a wedding photographer who's photographed at a fair share of venues, Northfork Farm takes the cake and is certainly in my top faves!!!!! It is so serene, peaceful, and beautiful. It also has a very intimate, homey-feel to it. I love the horses galloping around the farm the warm twinkle lights sprinkled around the barn. “From our first interaction with the Eaglewood Resort & Spa, we were impressed by their prompt and attentive communication style. Eileen, the venue coordinator, made us feel like a priority throughout the entire planning process. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with well-decorated, updated rooms inspired by the Frank Lloyd Wright architectural style. They were so accommodating, even customizing the menu in my bridal suite to include my favorite - peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Eileen greeted us with such warmth every time we met, and we truly felt cared for on our special day. The Haley Mansion

“The Haley Mansion was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication style was outstanding - they were always available to meet with us face-to-face, were incredibly responsive, and showed genuine kindness throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and value was exceptional. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with a perfect blend of traditional elegance and unexpected modern touches. Whenever we encountered any problems or challenges, the Haley Mansion team was quick to present alternative solutions, and they even provided us with a day-of time keeper to ensure the ceremony ran smoothly. We loved working with our wedding coordinator, whose bubbly personality was everything we could have hoped for. The only thing we wish is that they had allowed her to stay with us on the day of the wedding, as she was the one we were expecting to be by our side throughout the entire event. “It was a pleasure to work with Jodi at the Belvedere Banquet. She was amazing and made it very simple and easy at every step. I saw the prices and we talked about any changes along with the price for any changes. I got a packet that clearly stated what was included so I did not have to guess or question anything. We agreed on everything and I put down a small payment. Next payment could be spread out or in my case since the wedding was so close, I just paid in full. No extra fees were added on. Over the next few weeks, I had a few questions arise and she answered everything within the same day or next business day. My vendors were able to set up earlier than expected which was nice for them. I stayed next door at the hotel which was very convenient. They have doors that open between the hotel lobby and the banquet lobby. Plus a beautiful indoor lobby and outdoor courtyard for pictures. I loved the tall ceiling and the windows at my wedding. The food was amazing as well. I got many complements from my guests about the quality of the food. Many guests also enjoyed taking pictures in the lobby. Food was served at a timely manner. Overall, a very pleasant experience.”

“We highly recommend The Seville Chicagoland as a wedding venue. Desire was amazing to work with - she communicated promptly and professionally every step of the way. The space itself is elegant without the high price tag, giving great value. On our big day, The Seville really came through for us. When some out-of-town guests couldn't make the rehearsal, Desire allowed us to cancel without penalty. She also helped with DJ equipment rental when our original rental fell through. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or coordinator for our special day. The Seville handled all the little details and last minute changes beautifully. We're so grateful for the role they played in making our wedding day stress-free and magical.”
