I started photography years ago as an elective in college and I never knew what it would become. I've always maintained full time jobs (I've been a graphic designer and special education teacher) but my passion for photography kept me pursuing it on the side. Eventually I became so consumed by my efforts that I was able to go full time in my business. I care deeply about my clients. My passion for photography and weddings began when I was very young. I staged Barbie weddings, making their dresses from Kleenex, then snuck Mom’s camera to take pictures of them. I moved on to dressing up my little sister in a pillowcase veil, again sneaking Mom’s camera. When she got tired of me using up all her film, she brought home several Bride magazines from the free pile at the library and I spent hours reading them, then pinning pages of beautiful wedding dresses on the ceiling of my bedroom. Photographs always made me curious. The stories behind the photo often sparked ideas for my book writing. Being a 90's baby I grew up using Kodak film, my moms point-and-shoot, and polaroid. My love of this art grew and I bought my first Canon when my oldest was 3. For awhile I captured our family growing, memories, a few newborns here and there, and brand content. In 2020, I began capturing life through the lens for others. It brought beauty back to my heart, and independence to my life as a mom. When I shot my first wedding I became absolutely hooked and knew I wanted to capture more of those memories for your future generations to cherish.

I grew up as one of the youngest cousins in a big extended family, and holiday gatherings have always been a lively affair. At the dinner table I learned that my favorite part the season was hearing stories be told and watching my family laugh & cry. Since then I've been dedicated to helping others tell their stories, at first with my academic pursuits, and then with my love of cameras and the magic they can create.
