My husband and I love house music, and it was so important that the music played at our wedding was authentically us. Jeff absolutely nailed it and our guests had a blast, calling it their first "rave wedding"! In addition, the Photo Booth turned out to be exactly what I had in mind. The "glam" filter made everyone look flawless and the attendant was kind and helpful. Guests could print as many copies as they wanted. We received the digital files two days after our wedding and now get to cherish these fun images forever. Look no further for your sound and entertainment needs!”

“Don from District Remix was fantastic and truly one of the reasons our wedding day felt so perfect! From our very first meeting, we knew he would be easy to work with and genuinely invested in helping us create the best day possible. He was organized, prepared, communicative, and excited to be part of our celebration from start to finish. Throughout the entire wedding day, Don followed all of our notes and instructions carefully and made sure every song and announcement happened exactly when and how we wanted. He announced everything clearly and timely, kept the flow of the evening running smoothly, and was always attentive to the energy of the room. As a DJ, he was incredible. “Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

“I found MixMasters Entertainment through my wedding venue, and I am so grateful that I did! From the beginning they were very professional, and their planning portal was very easy to navigate to share our wedding/timeline information along with conveying our music tastes. Additionally, Chris is very quick to respond to questions and provide thorough answers, which made planning that much easier! Closer to the wedding we had a call with DJ Nick, and he was both professional and personable-- we had a great conversation with him and clicked instantly! We went over all of the little details in our call that way the wedding day went smoothly. It was also a great opportunity to talk about music choices and vibes for dancing, which were executed perfectly at the reception! And due to specific circumstances, he was able to offer us a great deal on uplighting and I'm so happy we went for it! It really transformed the venue for dancing and brought so much energy. On the wedding day DJ Nick knew exactly what to do without having to ask us questions and made sure everything ran smoothly on his end from set up to wedding party introductions to toasts to dancing and clean up. I also want to note that him and his wife Erin were very sweet to let my nephew (who's 5) "help" them with sound checks which I know he had a blast with. They/my sister had the idea of my nephew introducing my husband and I for the reception, and I thought it was such a sweet idea! And DJ Nick checked with me personally to make sure I wanted this change rather than relying on secondhand confirmation, which I really appreciated! And the dancing! We really did dance the night away in the best way possible. The song choices were great as well as the transitions, and again the uplighting really did bring an extra energy to the space which was fantastic. DJ Nick was able to read the crowd in order to change up song vibes and keep the energy up the whole night. I felt like I couldn't step away from the dance floor! And towards the end of the night when it was all the 20 somethings left on the dance floor the microphone came out and it was so much fun!! Again, everything that happened really fit the vibe and I could tell everyone was having so much fun. Nick also went above and beyond for us: a few days after our wedding he sent us a Spotify playlist of all the songs played at our wedding and a Google Photos album of all the pictures/videos he took at the wedding! It was a really kind and thoughtful thing to do. In summary: Chris and Nick are very professional in their work, are fantastic at their jobs, can pick up a vibe and immediately run with it, and in general are just very kind people. I will be recommending MixMasters any chance I get!”

He truly understands the vibe of your wedding and knows exactly how to keep your guests on the dance floor all night long. From reading the crowd to perfectly timing every transition, he created an atmosphere that was fun, seamless, and unforgettable. Our guests absolutely loved him and kept raving about what a phenomenal DJ he was throughout the night! My husband and I chose the Gold Package, which covered absolutely everything needed for a wedding and more! It even included uplighting and a party pack with glow batons and necklaces (which our guests LOVED and definitely added to the energy on the dance floor). Throughout the entire planning process, Paul’s communication was impeccable. He was extremely responsive, organized, and always one step ahead. As a type-A bride, I truly appreciated how reassuring he was, especially when reminding me not to worry if guests didn’t start dancing immediately (he was right…they just needed a little time and some liquid courage!). Paul walked us through the entire day step by step and offered so many helpful suggestions on what works best. He always had a backup plan ready, which ended up being a lifesaver. Our wedding weekend had a HUGE rainstorm, and we had to move our ceremony indoors. I had originally planned a sparkler exit, but with the rain, I wasn’t sure what to do or if we should skip it altogether. When I mentioned just dancing until the end, Paul immediately stepped in with the perfect solution: using the light-up batons for our exit. I hadn’t even thought of that, but it turned out to be exactly what we needed! His quick thinking and confidence completely put my mind at ease. I highly recommend DJ Paul for any event, especially your wedding. He is professional, talented, organized, and truly cares about making your day perfect. “We knew Marcus was the perfect choice for our wedding DJ right away, but we were blown away by how great he was! To say he was fantastic is a gross understatement for how truly spectacular he was from the ceremony to the reception. Our entire reception was on the dance floor for HOURS because he kept playing hit after hit after hit. One of my friends told me she had never seen such a wide span of generations on the dance floor at a wedding before, and she was 100% right. He was such a fantastic DJ it was hard to leave the dance floor, which is exactly what we wanted our reception to be. Marcus was also a complete professional. At one point, my husband and I realized we had fallen slightly behind schedule while trying to say hello to all our guests, which made me extremely stressed, but Marcus was immediately on top of it with suggestions for how to make sure we got back on track. We cannot recommend Event Solutions or Marcus enough. If you're looking to party, Marcus is the perfect DJ for the job.”

Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

“Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting.
