“There is not enough good things we can say about Sarah! From day 1, she had great communication before the proposal while deciding the perfect location and how we would meet up with her. She executed flawlessly and I never saw her until the ring was on my finger even though she followed us for a bit before the big moment. She made us feel so comfortable for the photoshoot after and was willing to go to a few different spots with us all while carrying all of our stuff so it wouldn’t be in our pockets for the pictures. We received the sneak peeks the next day and were blown away with how well they turned out, she nailed it!! She got the big “I do” moment which was most important and then captured so many other sweet moments right before and after that I will forever be so grateful we can relive because of her photos. “I was looking all over for a photographer and when I landed on her Insta, I fell in love with Jumara's editing style, so of course I contacted her asap a year in advance just to make sure she was available for my date!! Overall, Jumara went above and beyond to capture the beautiful moments of our special day. Her attention to detail must be noted! One of our bridesmaids forgot to take a hairband off her wrist, and Jumara noticed it immediately and pointed it out. When we were taking family photos, she also spent extra time repositioning every specific person so that the overall photo would look balanced. I honestly just expected her to snap the photos as is, but nope, she made sure to stage each and every person so that everyone's face could be seen (and there were a lot in our LARGE family)!! Speaking of our large family, Jumara had SO much patience and handled it like a champ. I felt like it was so chaotic, but she didn't even seem to break out a sweat! At one point, she decided it would look better if some individuals sat down for the photos, so she and her second shooter quickly and tirelessly grabbed chairs for them (I would have been physically exhausted if I had to do that lol). I really appreciated her very specific posing instructions, so I didn't have to think about where to place my hands, or whether to smile, etc. Jumara was great about communicating with us throughout the event to make sure we were okay with taking more photos in certain areas, etc. I was constantly worried we were running behind schedule, but she reassured us when we had extra time to take even more photos, even including some spontaneous ones with my family before the ceremony! I felt sorry about her having to deal with the groom and I's large families, from coordinating our formal family portraits with its MULTIPLE configurations, to PATIENTLY following us around during the reception as we greeted each table and took pics. And at the end of this stressful and eventful day, as we were saying goodbye, Jumara didn't even seem tired at all! Thank you Jumara, I am so glad I found you!! Also, shout out to her assistant photographer Kirsten Joci for working tirelessly as well throughout the event! At one point amid the chaos of taking family photos, she even ran and got us boba to make sure we stayed hydrated and energized! Thank you! After the wedding, 3 days later, we received a few photos as a sneak peek, and they look amazing! I can't wait to get the rest!! (eta 4-8 weeks)”

I reached out for information and within a few hours (honestly I think it was within the hour) I had a full break down of pricing, expectations, availability, and a follow up of making sure I had access to see some work before booking. Within a day, we had our contract worked out and a meeting scheduled to go over any missing details. Day of the wedding, she was prompt, full of ideas, and worked with the flow of the day seamlessly. Even when I received photos (faster than expected!) I could tell she left the wedding and was already working on photos based on a few time stamps I caught in files. I was sent a link to a beautiful gallery and got to cry all over again reliving the day. She even made to follow up that there were no issues with the link and if everything was to my liking. 10/10 would ABSOLUTELY recommend!! “We were super excited to work with a veteran-owned business for our wedding music. However, the experience was not what we had hoped for. William's communication style was fast and accommodating, but he had a hard time matching the style of music we provided for our playlist (we provided around 40 songs for him and he added the rest to get the time coverage, but we didn't like 60% of his choices so we changed them 2 days before, which he fixed with no complaints!). During the ceremony, the music was skipping (outdoor and separate from reception area) and he ended up playing more guest requests than the songs we had specifically chosen as the couple. One big positive was he had a good balance of talking/directing and just playing music which I really appreciated. Overall, we had mixed feelings but all the issues we had could have been corrected with an equipment check (not sure if this was a venue issue or DJ issue) and preference of our music over the guests. I really liked working with William as a person and he handled changes really well, but I was disappointed to not hear more of my song choices.”
