The first Common Man Restaurant opened in Ashland, NH in 1971. In the summer of ’72, we catered our first uncommon event. More than 50 years later, we offer 17 event venues in five locations across the state. The State Theatre, located at 609 Congress Street in the heart of Portland, Maine’s Arts District was originally built as a first-run movie house in 1929.
