The Other Barn is nestled in the heart of Howard County, MD, providing a rustic and charming barn setting, close to home. The Other Barn is ideal for hosting outdoor wedding ceremonies and indoor wedding receptions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Other Barn prides itself on being an affordable, local venue while allowing our clients to choose all of their own vendors in order to watch their dreams become a reality on their special day. Clients are required to bring in a licensed caterer of their choice. We offer a full kitchen, a large ice machine, and ice chests. We will set up tables and chairs for you prior to your event, according to a specialized floor plan that you design with our Facility & Rental Coordinator. Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

Located in Fairfax County near Clifton, VA, Whitehall Farm offers 205+ acres of picturesque secluded woodlands filled with local wildlife, forested streams, and rolling pasture. Whitehall Farm has been in the Vazquez family for 60 years, and is currently run by Nadine Vazquez. Ms. Vazquez and her husband rebuilt Whitehall as a working educational farm, with the hope of permanently preserving it as an open space in an increasingly crowded Fairfax County. The barn will seat approximately 150 for a reception with dance floor. The barn has 2 private dressing suites, a caterer’s kitchen/prep area, and bar area. We will provide high quality chairs for indoor ceremony and tables and chairs for the reception.

The Howard County Conservancy is a countryside wedding venue located just 15 minutes from Columbia and Ellicott City. With multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces, and 8 ceremony location options, this nature center is available to host a range of wedding celebrations. Couples are sure to find an idyllic location for their ceremony and/or reception. Situated between Baltimore and DC, HCC offers a tranquil setting and captivating natural scenes as a backdrop. For celebrations held indoors, The Gudelsky Environmental Education Center can accommodate anywhere between 50 and 200 people, dependent on the selected event layout. This building offers a space flooded with natural light and exposed wooden beams. Rentals include usage of a spacious covered terrace and the Clark Native Plant Garden.

It begins with a beautiful reception and registration area and an assortment of beautifully decorated and fully equipped rooms that can accommodate groups from 10-342 people. This center is great for various types of events, including banquets and luncheons, and is is available 7 days a week!

Circle D Farm allows you to be unique and customize your day the way you want it. With multiple outdoor and indoor ceremony and reception locations to choose from, creative in-house catering, and on-site event coordinator, Circle D Farm has your every need covered. A 4800 square foot banquet room with vaulted ceilings and wood-burning fireplace can accommodate up to 250 of your guests. A large 2nd story balcony provides dramatic views of the preserved countryside. Circle D Farm is available for year-round events. We only book one event per venue a day, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your celebration.

Brittland Estates embraces a collection of heritage properties located in the historic Chestertown area of Maryland's Eastern Shore. Aix La Chapelle farm is an elegant and picturesque working farm with charming restored buildings from a Dairy Barn with soaring ceilings for your party room to a charming bakery for a sweet treat surprise. Tents are no longer needed, we have a beautiful pavilion with concrete floors, soaring ceilings and bistro lighting. Bountiful fields, flowering meadows, and vintage buildings complete the scenic landscape. There are still reasons to express joy, to embrace the journey and to cherish the moments.
